Denmark doesn't have mountains so it built a ski resort on top of power plant

A ski slope that’s located on top of a power plant recently opened in Copenhagen, Denmark.

So, this is a climbing wall. That was built in an afternoon full of playtime, laughs and distraction in my best friends’ driveway for her beautiful son and daughter. You see, she and her husband have been converting their garage into an O.T. space or according to their son a new play room.

The supplies where simple enough to find and decide on.

5 - 8ft 2x4 

4 - L brackets

1 – ¾” sheet of plywood

1-box of 3” deck screws

Climbing Handles with T-nuts and bolts  

Now for the steps of assembly.

 Cut everything to length

 Assemble frame

 Arrange handles and mark holes

 Drill holes

 Hammer T-nuts into holes on back of plywood

 Bolt down climb holds

 Secure plywood to frame

 Mount frame to wall with L brackets and drywall anchors

 Lastly have any and all adults act like monkeys on it before letting babies anywhere near it.

Here’s the fun project I’ve been working on with my boys! My oldest is really interested in space and rockets right now, so I build a space ship “cockpit” and a “lunar surface” climbing wall to fit his bed! It was super simple, holds me (220#) easily and was a lot of fun, especially since he helped me build it! It took about 5 hours total to get to this point. I’m still planning to add lights, switches, a second control panel so both boys can “fly” it at the same time, and I’m considering adding a gull-wing door to the side for fun! Thoughts?
