Clone whump, right? Expendable not-realy-people, no reason to treat them well when you could just get a new one, great stuff, right?

Well I had a thought. Clone/child!whumpee.

Whumper was self-aware enough to know they didn't really want a child. They wanted a mini-me with all their interests and hobbies. So, they made whumper JR (whumpee). However, whether it is because of substance abuse/trauma Whumpee wouldn't have (or, more juiceily, Whumpers own shittyness), they are a bad parent to Clone!whumpee. You get the abuse from a normal Parent!Whumper, *and* whumpee having to grapple with the fact that they aren't just related to Whumper, genetic speaking, they *are* Whumper. Will they turn out to be a terrible abuser as well? What if Whumper comits a crime and makes whumpee take the fall? Perhaps whumpee also makes a clone in an effort to be better than whumper(and maybe becomes the very thing they swore to destroy)?

Sorry if it's all over the place, I just have. So many ideas.

Oof… I do love the idea of clone whump, especially in the context of like, a dystopian, but this is a take I haven’t considered…

Whumpee seeing flashes of Whumpee not just in their actions, but all the way to their core. Feeling the cruelty and anger and emotional instability well up inside them and knowing they had all the things Whumper did.

Deciding if it was going to be two of the same going at each other, they were going to win. Whumper never thought to look inward because if they had, they would have never made a clone, but Whumpee had been acutely aware of how dangerous and awful they could be for as long as they could remember.

Whumper was about to experience a taste of their own medicine.

(And Whumpee taking over Whumpers life, assuming their identity to completely erase them from existence to undermine their desire for a legacy? Ugh, I love it.)

Mini Whump Prompt 153

"What am I?" The hollow clone of whumpee inquired to whumper, analyzing themselves through the mirror.

"You are my love of course. You've simply lost your memory."

"I'm sorry that I don't remember you then.", They allowed themselves in whumper's embrace, resting their head against whumper's chest, and listening to the quickened heartbeat. Even the hum of whumper's laughter was warm and full of vibrations, buzzing against the clone's face.

The clone explained, "I want to love you.", while whumpee could do nothing but watch through the screen, still trapped in their restraints.

whumper who kidnaps whumpee and replaces them with a clone to make sure nobody will ever come looking for them because nobody even knows they’re gone

Whumper kidnaps Whumpee and creates an exact clone of them to send to the team to fool them and to figure out where their headquarters is.

The clone acts and looks exactly like Whumpee, except that they don't have their quirks. No one noticed this... except for Youngest.

Whumpee usually gives them a secret handshake to Youngest, but this clone didn't do it when Youngest asked them to do it. Youngest chalked it up as them being stressed... until it was nighttime.

Usually Whumpee kisses them a goodnight forehead kiss, but they didn't. Or that they look through some of their favorite books to read tonight but Whumpee chose one that neither of them liked. Maybe Whumpee didn't even say goodnight to Youngest.

That tipped off Youngest that this is NOT Whumpee, and Youngest secretly tells the team that Whumpee was acting strange, and that they suspect that it wasn't them, but no one believed them.

Meanwhile, Whumper forces the real Whumpee to watch as their clone acts around the team, and Whumpee's heart sank. Would their team figure out that the clone was a fake in time?

I just had an idea for lab whump: clone whumpee. A whumpee grown in a lab to be a test subject. They’re one of many test subjects so they’re easily replaceable, and they were made for science so researchers don’t really think of them as human. There could also be a multiple whumper and/or whumpee scenario with multiple researchers and/or test subjects involved in one test. Whumpee has never known anything else, so they might not even think this is strange, and might get confused when caretaker rescues them. I also just think it would be cute for whumpee to have lots of basically siblings in recovery. There could be multiple caretakers too if there are enough whumpees.

Ooh, this one hurts me deep. The sense of being a “replacement” or “spare parts” is one that I’ve felt myself, but I’ve never considered bringing it into whump before. I love it though! Immediately gave me the vibes of like…how much do you have to suffer before you become a person? You look like a person, but they say you’re not, so what they’re doing to you must be to make you a person. But you don’t like it, it hurts, but you can’t say no because you’re not a person yet. Who is the person you look like? Will you ever meet them? Whose image are you made in?
