Thrown towards the Arctic by Grimlock after Teletraan 1 took control of Megatron while he was in stasis lock when it thought the Dinobots were enemies then temporarily found 4 Million Years later by Captain Archibald Witwicky then in 1965 by a younger Cobra Commander and the people of Cobra-La but he escaped then went into stasis lock once again later to be found in 1978 by the US Government in either Nepal or the Yukon Territory.

Golobulus plotting to take the war to Cybertron? I’m legitimately hyped for Cobra-La, a concept considered so silly Larry Hama refused to write a word about it. Amazing what a fresh perspective can do.

Now that it’s been long enough. Skybound’s big reveal on Megatron’s whereabouts: he’s in Cobra-La being studied by Cobra Commander’s science division against Golobulus’ wishes. For awhile there was the meme about Optimus wearing Megatron’s arm, and since Megatron seems to be missing both arms, I wondered what it’d be like if he got a Cobra-La replacement arm. Sort of the rough idea I had was an organic Guyver version of the dead Prime arm, but experimented with making his arm a transforming version of Serpentor’s chariot thing. In vehicle mode, I saw him having a big snake turret because I think it’s funny.

A fan thing I had in mind for Skybound was a team of Cobracons that consist of Iguanus, Slitherfang, Gatoraider, Deathcobra, Billy (based on the Cobra Commander’s son version from IDW’s TF vs Joes series) and Pythona. Megatron would have a role, but I also saw Starscream become a Python Patrol jet, only his null rays are snakes for a visual gag.
