Today’s colors.
wearing these colors on my period supports my inner peace..I felt so fabulous through the fatigue..
That skirt has a story..
I originally thrifted it. It’s SHEIN. It was a muddy yellow kind of neon color that made me feel sick to look at and wear, but I loved the silhouette of the design, so pretty and dolly. So I dyed it brown but it came out sort of tie dyed and I styled it once and never reached for it again.
So I left it in my closet..collecting dust..until I rebirthed my customization rhythm and wanted to give some good pieces a second chance. I decided I would bleach it and wear it as the lovely chalk papel yellow and style it for some time
..then bleach it again so it’s more blank and ready for a pink. bubblegum pink? 🎀
And maybe…just maybe, sew some lovely black lace trim at the hem later..it doesn’t have pockets but I can alter it to have some!
