-Points at something ugly “Hey, that looks just like you.”

“Shut the fuck up.”

-“Dude stop taking my clothes.”

“But less-comfy clothes I guess.”

-“Dude what if we kissed right now? that would literally be so funny if we did that.”

-“You got the homework for (class)? I kinda slept while doing it last night.”

-Upon seeing something risky/daring “I feel like you’d definitely be stupid enough to try this.”

-“(FRIEND) OH MY GOD THE NEW EPISODE OF (SHOW) CAME OUT CAN WE WATCH IT?”

-“Hey can you come over? I tried making you a cake and kinda... messed up.”

-“Do it, you won’t.”

I couldn’t help the tears as I stepped into the hospital room. It had been months since I’d seen him awake, seen him moving. So much had happened, but it felt so empty without him.

His smile was just as big, just as bright as before, despite the shrinking of his frame. I couldn’t imagine what he was feeling right now.

“I need you to do me a favor, alright?” He asked. I nodded, unable to speak without bursting into a sob. “I know I missed a lot of memes. Catch me up on that shit?”
