Valentine Baker

I'll just explain what I have so far for future reference.

Valentine Baker is not someone that matters. Or at least, that's what the world seems to think. You see, about three years ago, Valentine died. However, at the same time, Azul Socorro had met their end in a world similar to our own. This event caused the two souls to switch places. Azul now taking over Valentine's body and life. Valentine was a baker (fitting), and would spend his days working away at whatever new project his boss had chosen to embark on that day. However, while adjusting to this new life, Valentine noticed something.

This world was the backdrop for an enormous amount of fantasy stories. And he was nothing but an extra in them.

Now this opened up a ton of possibilities. Mainly, the ability to watch stories being made in real-time. Endlessly excited by this prospect Valentine came up with a few simple rules to help them avoid the main plotlines, allowing them to watch from a distance.

Pretty people are dangerous

Don't call out anyone that steals, they could very well lead you on a wild goose chase where you inevitably become a minor and temporary villain

Under no circumstances come into contact with any of the main characters

It was simple, laughably so, The differences between people like them and the main characters were palpable. Valentine couldn't afford to enter a main storyline out of fear of disturbing their now quiet and comfortable existence. Sadly, it seemed the world wasn't done with them just yet. As a flurry of events leading to the death of the Prince and the unlocking of a worldwide catastrophic power, Valentine must now embark on a journey to fix their mistake and save the world. With the help of the aforementioned catastrophic power which has taken a liking to living inside of them. Armed with a new (unwanted) companion and a prayer, Valentine begins their journey around this strange world.

So I'm still in the middle of writing my time travel screenplay and I came up with another idea for a movie and I decided that I wouldn't start outlining it until I was done with my current screenplay. However I keep really getting the urge to work on this other idea and I figured out a solution: write it as a comic book, not a movie.

Superhero Idea

Imagine a superhero, one with all the super strength and speed, endurance, health, only, they don’t actually know any martial arts. They have no idea how to actually fight. They just, like, randomly wack criminals, and it works. I heard once that professional fighters have it worse, sometimes, when fighting an untrained fighter, rather than an actual trained fighter. Instead of actual attacks, they wouldn’t know what to expect. It’s like that, only this is a superhero with super strength and they have no idea what they’re doing.

I feel like this would be such a fun story, a comic book with the superhero being so real and likeable. A hero having no idea how to fight crime and be a superhero.

I want an AU where everyone in Gotham knows Bruce Wayne is the Batman (or some other superhero with a famous secret identity) but they all pretend not to when they encounter him because he doesn’t know they know. There’s also an unspoken rule that you don’t reveal his identity to villains or those outside Gotham.
