See the potential of grace and simon being like, "Holy shit a human! I haven't gotten off in years, and this dude is hot, " and then just immediately humping like rabbits and BOTH of them chilling the hell out because of it is RIGHT there. But deep in my heart, I truly think grace is sex repulsed/ tolerant veerrryy little to sexual pleasure. To the point he can't even touch himself without getting uncomfortable. But once in a good while, he'll accept a bit of grinding/dry humping to the most minimum amount to help with built-up tension and because he trusts simon. He's kind of attracted to his reliability about it. He still doesn't get off cause he's usually uncomfortable before the line even gets there, but he knows why simon sometimes goes to the bathroom afterward. He isn't stupid, and it works for the both of them, so he feels less bad about it.

Theres a universe where Rocky and Adrian come to visit and are just standing outside horrified (because they can see through walls) to see grace being thouroughly mated. Or simon. Idk I think they switch a lot. And I think they're cryers too.

But that is not in my head lol.

Simon doesn't have "I love you, let's have sex" feelings he has "I love you, let me SERVE you" feelings, but since grace is lowkey repulsed, it works in his favor. Sex is transational for Simon. There's no attraction connected to it for him. He gets off knowing he did good serving grace and because it feels good, not because he craves sex.

That being said, I dont think simon knows he's Ace, tho until much later when they're having a conversation about sexual attraction, and Simon just is like, "What do you mean? Wait, are you telling me people want to do this all the time because they love someone and get horny for them and not just because their partner wants to??"

Poor Simon starts thinking about his past sexual involved relationships, realizing that he was bassically being a sex worker, but instead of money, they'd give him extra supplies and be nice to him. He had thought everyone did this and actually a little sad cause he thought they liked him. Just him sitting there teary-eyed like "is.. is that not how it's supposed to be?" Now feeling differently about himself. That there's something wrong with him because he thought only seeing it as transactional and servicing was how everyone did it. Of course he knew in his head "If I have sex with this person theyll give me stuff and be nice to me" but it never really clicked to him that most people have sex because they want to have sex with that person not because strictly pleasure and benifits.

Poor Grace feels terrible. He assumes Simon must have been taught this and he couldn't see elders of Eden being like "Oh btw followers, Sex is supposed to be about attraction so if you dont feel that way youre probably Ace" so it made sense he didn't know until now.

Simon, thinking all of his relationships up until now, were good and dandy only for some earth twink to come and tell him his whole life that has actually been a lie and it was something entirely different.

Mono no aware

Here is an obscure emotion that took me a few days to understand but Mono no aware is a Japanese idiom that describes the feeling of bittersweet and a deep appreciation for the impermanence of life. it can be translated as "the pathos of things."

If this is confusing, it's the feeling of nostalgia but instead of longing for the past, Mono no aware longs for the present moments. The moments where life and time becomes still as you appreciate the beautiful sensation of euphoria, however you're sadden that the sensation won't last for long.

If this is still confusing. One prime example is in studio ghibli's Spirited Away, where Chihiro sits on the train in solitude as she stares off in longing. The scene captures this stillness and poignant feeling where it feels like the story has taken a pause. It's the quiet moment where you finally enjoy the silence after going through hardship, where you reflect and appreciate what was lost and what has changed.🌸🩷🌿

Among the shadows, Mydei stood, his gaze piercing the horizon, his body as still as the mountains he called home.

You had heard the tales of Mydeimos, the Undying prince. The one who could not die, no matter the odds. A warrior whose very name struck fear into the hearts of those who had witnessed his fury. Yet, behind his cold exterior, you sensed something different—something raw, a soul burdened by his past.

You had been sent to this forsaken place on a mission of your own, but fate had drawn you to the same battlefield, where honor and vengeance intertwined. As the child of Sparta, your legacy was one of strength and pride, though it often weighed heavily on your heart. You were no stranger to battle, but there was something about Mydei that intrigued you—something that stirred both admiration and curiosity.

The wind howled as you approached him, your footsteps soft on the uneven ground. He turned to face you, his expression unreadable, though his eyes seemed to soften just slightly at the sight of you.

“Spartan warrior, what brings you to this forsaken land?” he asked, his voice deep and resonant, like the rumble of distant thunder.

You smiled faintly, adjusting the weight of your weapon, feeling the familiar comfort of its grip. “I was sent to aid in the fight against the Titans,” you said, your tone steady, though the weight of his gaze was not lost on you. “And perhaps… to seek a kindred spirit among the chaos.”

His lips twitched ever so slightly, a small, fleeting smile that barely reached his eyes. “A kindred spirit?” he repeated, almost as if testing the words. “In this world of endless bloodshed, you would see me as such?”

You nodded, stepping closer, your heart beating faster with each step. “I’ve heard the stories. The Undying warrior, a prince without a throne. The one who endures when all others fall. But I see the man beneath the legend, Mydei. I see the weight you carry.”

He was silent for a long moment, his eyes scanning the land before settling on you once more. “I carry much more than you realize,” he said, his voice low. “But what is it you seek, Spartan? The gods have cursed us both. We are bound by our fate, yet still, we fight.”

You took a step forward, placing your hand gently on the hilt of your sword, though your gaze never wavered from his. “I fight for more than just victory. I fight for honor, for peace, for the ones who have suffered. And perhaps… I fight for understanding. To find a reason in this madness.”

Mydei's expression softened ever so slightly, the hardness in his eyes dulling just a fraction. He stepped closer, the weight of his presence almost overwhelming as he looked down at you. “And what would you understand, [Name]?”

His use of your name sent a strange thrill through your chest, but you did not falter. “I understand the burden of destiny. I know what it is to have the eyes of the world upon you, to feel the weight of a prophecy, a crown, or a legacy that never truly belonged to you.”

The air between you crackled with an unspoken tension, a silent understanding passing between two warriors who had seen too much of the battlefield to remain unscarred. Mydei’s hand twitched at his side, as if fighting an urge to reach out to you, but instead, he merely clenched it into a fist.

“The gods do not care for us,” he said, his voice tinged with bitterness. “They see us as tools to be used, pawns in their endless game of fate. We are cursed to fight, cursed to die, and yet… I am the one who endures.”

“And that is why I admire you,” you replied softly. “Not because you cannot die, but because you continue to fight, even when there is no clear victory. Because you carry on, despite everything.”

His eyes softened at your words, the raw intensity that often consumed him shifting into something gentler. “And you, Spartan… Do you believe you can change your fate?”

You hesitated, your thoughts swirling with the weight of your own burdens. “Perhaps not. But I will not bow to it.”

A silence fell between you, thick with the unspoken words of two souls who understood the cost of their existence. Then, as if in answer to the storm inside both of you, Mydei stepped closer, his presence overwhelming yet oddly comforting.

“You are like the storm,” he said, his voice a mere whisper now, “unpredictable and fierce, yet never without purpose.”

“And you,” you replied, “are the one who stands against it.”

In that moment, the distance between you seemed to vanish, and for a brief second, the weight of the world faded away. You saw not just the prince of Kremnos, but the man beneath—the one who had endured more pain than anyone should have to bear. And in his eyes, you saw the same unyielding fire that burned within you.

With a soft sigh, Mydei reached out, his hand brushing against yours. The contact was brief, but it was enough. Neither of you spoke, but in that touch, something passed between you—an unspoken understanding, a promise that, no matter the outcome of the battles ahead, you would not fight alone.

As the two of you stood together, the storm clouds above seemed to part just slightly, a ray of light breaking through the darkness. And for the first time in a long while, both Mydei and you found a fleeting sense of peace in the storm.

I try to write anything but smut and feel useless

I keep typing up these long posts and deleting them. The murk in my brain is too dense to be able to extract anything coherent from it.

I am desperately trying to cling to the happy things I have going on.

Pride is in a couple weeks.

I have set some boundries with my parents.

I am actively growing a backbone.

But I am unable to ignore the bad things happening.

I like things to be neat and organized. I should be able to put all of the emotions and feelings in seperate boxes, only accessing each individual topic and feeling as I need.

Instead I have one ominous box in the center of a dark room, lit up with a pull string light bulb (one of those dull flickering kinds) and when I open it theres a handkerchief, that is attached to a never ending string of handkerchiefs. Pulling the first one drags out the next, and the next and the next, etc.

Everything is connected, everything affects and interacts with everything else.

I cant have happiness without sorrow.

Missing Someone [as a hopeless romantic]

What a delightful experience it is to miss someone.

You're perfectly content, minding your business, and suddenly—BAM—you remember that person exists, and now you feel like someone just punched you in the chest. It's an odd combination of longing and frustration, like, "Hey, I'm doing great. But also, where are you and why aren't you here right now?"

It's not even that they're gone and you can't handle it—oh no, no, no. You're totally fine. You're an independent person. You don't need anyone. You can live a whole life without them. But also, why does the world feel so small?

Then there's the inevitable overthinking. Oh, that wonderful mental gymnastics of wondering if they miss you too. Do they think about you when they wake up? Do they replay your conversations in their mind like you do? Like that one time they called you just to ask about your day—and you spent the next two hours replaying the conversation in your head like it was some deep, meaningful scene from a movie or book.

And don't even get me started on the memories. The mind is a treacherous place, isn't it? Suddenly, everything you did together becomes a nostalgic highlight reel. You remember the sound of their laugh, the stupid way they pronounce certain words (it was adorable, okay?)—all the little things that make you want to punch a pillow out of frustration because, really? You're missing someone because of how annoyingly charming they were? Fantastic.

Now, the real question comes: Should you text them? Is it too soon? Too late? Should you send them a meme to remind them how hilarious you are? Should you send them a message that says, "Hey, I miss you," without sounding like a total weirdo who has way too much time on their hands? Nah, we're too cool for that. You don't need validation, right? You can just carry on with your day like the grown-up kid you are. But oh wait, you're texting them anyway. Maybe a meme that you said you found while surfing the browser (when in fact, you searched for it), because memes are totally how you convey deep emotional connections. Right?

So, then, what do you do with all this missing? You do what any reasonable person would do: distract yourself with Netflix, eat something unhealthy, and repeat the cycle over and over again until your brain hurts. And yet, at the end of the day, you miss them. Not because you're a sentimental mess (okay, maybe a little bit), but because, somewhere deep down, you know life is just a tiny bit better when they're around. You've come to the conclusion that life can be full without them, but it's a little more fun when they're there to make it just a little bit chaotic.

Missing someone messes up our mind. And yet we can't help it. It's a state of being we never asked for, but it is what it is, right? Can't do anything about it.
