Deltarune Weapons (7)
I liked Deltarune's idea of weapons, so I designed a bunch of new weapons for the Dark World and their counterparts as common items in the Light World. Here are some more desings.
The Bubble Scarf: (Ralsei)
Check: A scarf made of plastic bubbles that contains the magic of its user. These bubbles offer great protection.
Effects: (+3 DF) (+3 Magic) (Bubble UP)
This weapon has a 25% chance to nullify the damage Ralsei receives from any enemy attack.
Source: This scarf is located inside a hidden treasure chest in the backstage of TV World. The chest is behind a fake wall that can be opened by pressing a switch that is inside a nearly trash can.
Flavor Text:
Oh, thank you so much for this scarf, Kris. The extra protection is much appreciated. (When equipping it to Ralsei)
I know it's fun to pop bubble wrap, but this isn't the time. (When attempting to equip it to Susie)
I don't know what you want me to do with this bubble wrap. (When attempting to equip it to Noelle)
Bubble Sheet: There's not much to this bubble wrap, it's just really fun to pop. It's the Light World's equivalent of the Bubble Scarf.
Prismatic Rapier: (Kris)
Check: A huge, colorful saber made of plastic fragments. It spawns small sabers that perform extra attacks with each attack.
Effects: (+8 AT) (-1 DF) (Sneaky UP)
When Kris use this weapon, they now have a chance to perform an extra attack that deals a random amount of damage to a random enemy in conjunction with his normal attack damage.
Source: This weapon is found inside one of the many chests in the Bonus Zone in TV World during the events of Chapter 3.
Flavor Text:
Ehhh...no...magic sabers aren't really my thing. (When attempting to equip it to Susie)
Interesting, this saber seems to be made of small, colorful sabers. (When attempting to equip it to Ralsei)
No thanks, Kris... I think this weapon would be more useful in your hands. (When attempting to equip it to Noelle)
Swords Skewers: A sealed bag of decorative plastic party snack skewers that Toriel bought a while ago. It's the Light World form of the Prismatic Rapier.
Crimson Star: (Susie)
Check: A morning star covered in thorns that sits at the end of a long rope. It's a rather violent weapon that can be thrown around.
Effects: (+6 AT) (+3 DF) (Threefold UP)
Each of Susie's attacks now has a 25% chance to repeat an attack on an enemy three times in a single turn.
Source: In Card Kingdom, an object known as the Broken Star can be found inside an abandoned chest in the middle of the Red Forest. The Broken Star cannot be equipped but can be given to the blacksmith Malius to be restored in exchange for 666 D$.
Flavor Text:
I'm gonna beat some sense into the fools blocking our way with this. (When equipping it to Susie)
Sorry Kris, but I'm not good with this kind of weapon. (When attempting to equip it to Ralsei)
Ehhh... I'd rather not use that thing now or ever. (When attempting to equip it to Noelle)
Red Yo-yo: This is an old red yo-yo and appears to be in good condition. It is the Crimson Star's form in the light world.
Stress Scarf: (Ralsei)
Check: More than a scarf, this is a giant magical tie. The end appears to be burnt, but it still has style.
Effects: (+4 AT) (-1 Magic) (Stress UP)
If Ralsei loses 50% of his total HP, then his AT points will double and he will gain +4 DF points.
Source: This weapon can only be obtained by searching around the ICE-E P-e-zza restaurant. The player will find a burnt tie with a fried food smell that belonged to Pizza Pants.
Flavor Text:
This tie is a little tight, but I feel like it holds a lot of power. (When equipping it to Ralsei)
I'm not going to use that. I'm not a boring office worker. (When attempting to equip it to Susie)
Ehhh... I'm not a big fan of formal attire. (When attempting to equip it to Noelle)
Burn Tie: It's a new tie that appears to have been burned and smells like frying oil. It's the Stress Scarf's form in the light world.
Metric Katana: (Kris)
Check: A perfectly straight sword with the ability to temporarily double its blade size. It's a light and powerful weapon, but difficult to use.
Effects: (+7 AT) (Length UP)
When Kris use this weapon, they now have a chance (25%) of repeating an attack on enemies adjacent to the enemy who was attacked in the same turn.
Source: This weapon is one of the unique prizes obtainable from the Ball Machine by exchanging points. This machine is only available in TV World upon achieving a B-Rank or higher in any given round of TV Time during Chapter 3.
Flavor Text:
This thing is too light, I feel like I'm carrying a feather. (When attempting to equip it to Susie)
Wow... a magic sword that can automatically extend during battles. (When attempting to equip it to Ralsei)
I'd prefer you use it; it suits you much better than it suits me. (When attempting to equip it to Noelle)
Ruler: It's an old plastic ruler that Kris lost a long time ago. It's the shape of the Metric Katana in the world of light.
Hungry Axe: (Susie)
Check: It's a creature with sharp, angular edges that disguised itself as a weapon to steal food. It seeks to help you by devouring enemy attacks.
Effects: (+6 AT) (+3 DF) (Devour)
While Susie has this weapon equipped, there is a 25% chance that all attacks Susie receives will be completely nullified (no damage) and heal 3 HP instead.
Source: This weapon can be found inside a blue trash can somewhere random in Cyber World. To obtain it, the player must offer it food until it willingly leaves the container and jumps into Kris's inventory.
Flavor Text:
Waiter, bring more attacks! My little friend is hungry. (When equipping it to Susie)
Excuse me, Mr. Hungry Axe, it's not you, it's just that I specialize in magic. But your services might be useful to my friend, Susie. (When attempting to equip it to Ralsei)
Uh, Kris... Where did you get that creature? And why does it smell like garbage? (When attempting to equip it to Noelle)
Square: This is a green plastic square that you can see belonged to Berdy in the past since it's labeled with his name. It's the Hungry Axe's form in the world of light.
