mogai coining: conceptgender
color meanings: white: absense of a binary gender, purple: easier to comprehend concepts, teal: harder to comprehend concepts
definition: feeling as if one's gender is best described with ideas and concepts rather than typical gender descriptors & not feeling as if one's gender fits into any pre-made "boxes" like woman, man, or nonbinary
conceptgender can be fluid or stay the same and can consist of any amount of concepts
~ if this identity already exists, consider it an alternate design & if the flag is similar to any other flag that is completely accidental ~
would you be able to coin a term for a xenogender related to research, knowledge, learning, and books?
Conaissangender
PT: Conaissangender /end PT
ID: flag with 7 horizontal stripes, the middle one bieng thiner, and exterior ones thicker. Colors are, from top to bottom, grey, pale purply blue, yellowish orange, soft white, yellowish orange, pale purply blue and grey. In the center is a simplified soft white symbol of an individual looking at a book. End ID
Conaissangender: xenogender related to research, knowledge, learning and books. A conaissangender individual may feel an extremely strong connection to research, knowledge, learning and books, either strongly identifying as such or incorporating them into their gender to better understand their identity.
From the french word "conaissance" meaning knowledge. Flag is inspired from science academia aesthetics! Symbol from here (link).
I feel like xenogender sometimes falls under a certain category of “aesthetic” and not a gender identity or community
I’m xenic and I’m not saying it isn’t a gender, I just wish we talked more about the dysphoria of being xenogender or how expressing your xenogender identity by dressing a type of way may be “weird” to some people and how frustrating that is. I feel like that’s left in the dark.
I just need something to relate to when I’m feeling down about being xenogender because I feel like none of us talk about xenogenders outside of “look at this pretty new flag”
We need a sense of community that’s formed by honest words and not just the happy aesthetics the term was painted to be :/
Genderhot Pride Flag
Genderhot or hotgender: an aesthetigender where one's gender is anything that fits one's definition of "hot"; a xenogender or gender metaphor tied to hotness; or a gender that is only felt when it's hot (i.e. when a certain gender within you becomes activated with a hot weather). This could mean that one's gender feels like something hot, or one's gender is hot to them.

Day 3 prompt: Culture (ethnicity or a certain aspect of it)
A conceptgender term related to the concept of Sisu for gender reasons. This concept is quite a well known aspect of the Finnish culture and known thing about Finns especially within our history (and fun fact, it had been studied at some point even because it wasn't understood as a concept by others outside Finland), it is often spoken as something that is integral to understanding my culture.
Sisu as a concept is a lot of things squeezed into one and it doesn't have only one way of definition to it as every finn has their own understanding of it and so does the outside world have their own understanding of it. However it's meaning can be broken down to extraordinary determination in the face of extreme adversity, and courage that is presented typically in situations where success is unlikely. It expresses an action taken against odds, and displays courage and resoluteness in the face of adversity; in other words, deciding on a course of action, and then adhering to it even if repeated failures ensue.
It is a concept related to going beyond one's mental or physical capacity even when there is a big change of failure in all simple terms.
One could compare Sisu to equanimity (even if it, more or less, entails an element of stress management more than equanimity, it is still comparable). and it could be compared to the metaphor grit in English yet still not grasp the exact same concept as what Sisu is to us. The concept of Sisu has over time also turned to be a trait and it's inherently neutral in nature (and be used in both positive and negative context).
[ID/A rectangular flags of 9 uneven horizontal stripes. The stripes are in size two medium, two big, one small, two big, and two medium in size. The colors of the flags from top to bottom are greyish violet, faded sky blue, faded turquoise, faded green, white, faded light blue, light stone, faded medium blue, faded darker medium blue, and greyish violet./end ID]
[ID/A dark red line with gold lining and a repeating star and half moon pattern./end ID]
Etymology: Sisu + concept + ic
Sisu as a word is untranslatable due to there not being any translation from Finnish to English for Sisu.
Requested by none, coined for @pawfuu 's coining event. :3
I don't wish to dictate who can and cannot use a concept to explain one's gender, however due to it being a part of a culture I ask for folks outside of it who may find this label fitting to at least be respectful to its origin, what it stands for, and where it's from, etc. Thank you. /Gen
