We all have a myriad of facets to our experiential human self - the friend, the parent, the teacher, the student, the inner child, the mature adult, and throughout the day we morph between these different versions of ourselves. As we become more conscious and aware of this phenomena, instead of unconsciously playing out these different roles we can choose which aspect of ourselves we wish to express in any given moment. This simple recognition in itself brings us closer to the most empowered, confident, divine aspect of ourselves, the unchanging infinity which exists within us all - The inner God / Goddess. The Inner God / Goddess ~ * Recognises that everything is connected and all is one * * Demonstrates dedication to following the path of the highest truth * * Moves through life from inner guidance * * Expresses creativity with joy * * Has direct experience of the nature of the true self * * Is aware of patterns and conditionings playing out * * Responds to situations rather than reacting * * Is disidentified with the egoic self * * Embraces the heart as the power centre * * Does not allow the opinions of others to determine their actions * * Radiates a powerful yet gentle energy * When we connect with our inner God / Goddess we give power to it and it becomes a more dominant part of our experience. It is in our very nature to be connected to our inner God / Goddess and this connection can be made in any moment. In fact it's not really about doing anything, it's more a case on not doing and simply allowing. Close your eyes. Notice your breath. Relax deeper into yourself. Surrender every aspect of the self which is not you - your identity, your thoughts, your feelings - and feel inside of you the silent power of stillness. Connect with this energy and allow it to permeate your being. Allow this energy to flow through you, to penetrate your very core. Feel its strength. Feel its power. Feel its unconditional love. Feel its peace. Recognise that you are the one observing this phenomena. You are not the experience itself. As this energy awakens it will naturally express itself through you in the outer world. Surrender control and allow the energy to guide you. Relax into it and flow with life, rather than resisting. You are not separate from God.
