This game is an adventurous survival game. You are basically packing for a hurricane but your mom end up getting swept away and now you are adventuring throughout the Bayou trying to survive the swamps to find and save her. This game pretty much is a don’t take things for granted kind of game because anything can happen.
This is a good story game if you are looking for an adventurous game where you get powers and abilities to help you throughout the game. You can also see flashbacks and spirits that will also help you through the areas. There are only 14 chapters to this game in which goes quickly because the story is actually enjoyable.
There is a lot of obstacles in this game and puzzles you are going to have to work around to get through and around. There is a lot of environmental things that you are going to have to dodge and watch out for or you will end up loosing your health and dying. Eventually you find out your family is weavers and you go through clearing paths and blockages.
This game is a souls like but it can be difficult trying to learn everything you have to do because once you try to hit the enemy then you have a quick response like to get the other one. This game is having some responsive issues on the Xbox game pass for PC side so it may be best to wait or buy it in steam where it may work better. This game is also controller compatible so that may work better also.

Avowed
I have been playing Avowed since it came out and let me tell you this game is fun. You are going around collecting quests and finding out information you need to know that will help you later. You get to decide how you want the conversations to go and this will allow you to twist the narrative if you choose wrongly.
This game reminds me of Elder Scrolls, New World, Lost Ark and those kind of games. This game also kind of reminds me of Elden ring with the play style. There are side and option quests in this game that you can do but if you do them, they will help you out in the long run of understanding. There are letters lying around the map and other things you need to collect. This game does have parkour and platforming in which I am not a huge fan of but it is alright.
This game is kind of finicky trying to pick up items and loot from the ground so you have to crouch to get it sometimes.
This game has all kinds of different things from a skill tree for you to put your skills in, a character adjustment where you can adjust their strength, durability, and so much more. You can get swords, bows, guns, spears, wands, armor, and so much more. You can upgrade your armor and weapon using parts that you find or break off of animals.
To me, the dialogue when the characters are talking is way to much for me sadly but other than that, it is an alright game.

Sniper Elite Resistance
This game is so much fun! I love how if you get a special kill in an area, it shows you the damages you have done. This game has an almost open world effect but it does not allow you to go out of boundaries.
This game you have to also worry about the wind and bullet drops, sometimes the wind will carry your bullet and if you are aiming long range and you hold your breath there is a cross hair that shows up to allow you to help know where to hit and if you are hitting your target. This game is only 2 player co-op on the campaign but if you want to do survival, it holds up to four.
There is also online multiplayer that holds up to 16 players. There are collectibles and all kinds of different objectives in this game and if you happen to get all the work benches in the missions, you unlock more and more for your guns. The guns are customizable meaning you can add just about anything to make it work for you.
I must warn you, there are going to be people coming in from different worlds trying to kill you, you have to kill them before they get to you and if you do, you win. There are phones all over the map that will allow you to call in to see where they were last spotted. This in my opinion is fun but after a while it gets tiresome and annoying when you are trying to complete certain objectives and missions. Sometimes you will not even notice the other player because they look just like the NPCs but if you watch them, you can tell something is off and sometimes they do not look like them.
If you fail, then you get a defeat window and you can start the mission back from where you left off. You can also turn this off in the options menu in which that was great for me because I got tired of being shot while doing the mission because it happens after so many minutes. It felt like one was coming right after another and I just wanted to finish the mission.
This game is fun and it only has 9 story missions and then a DLC one. Some of the missions can be longer than others and then exploring and looking for collectibles and other mission items takes a while to get through but luckily you can always go back and replay it.
