Just found out that yet another song I liked and had saved in multiple playlists was actually made with AI. I am so mad right now.
Is nothing sacred anymore? Is nothing holy? Is anything real?
Fuck this shit. I'm moving to the 1980's.
In protest of this nonsense, I'm going to share a few small (ish) music creators that I KNOW aren't AI. I will include a link to their profile and maybe one of my favorite songs by them.
Starting with Aviators. He describe himself as an indie alternative musician. He makes fan music for various fandoms and has been around since 2011. He's done various collabs including some with Miracle of Sound. Some of my favorite songs by him are Let There Be Fire, Paralyzed, Dreams of the Deep (my introduction to him), and Stay Dead (inspired by Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom). He has a discord too.
I'm an indie alternative, orchestral, and synthwave musician. I make fan music, create original compositions, remix other songs, and score v
Next I think we'll go with Em Behold. I will be honest I have only listened to one of her songs which is Numb Little Bug. She may not be as small as I feel like she is, but I don't know much about her (other than the fact that she's a real person) and I don't think she's someone you would typically find in the wild so I'm including her.

Out of the dust is our next small artist. I have seen them in person with my own two eyes so I am beyond certain they are real. Out of the Dust is a Christian couple who divorced, got back together, and now writes music about their story and how God helped them through it all. A couple of songs I've listened to by them are Take This and This is Not Really Happening. Please check out their story and music. This link is to their website rather than their youtube page, but you can get to their youtube from it.
Home page of Out of the Dust, a Christian group. Telling the story of our restoration through music. Restored lives. Redemption music.
Here we have Arcane Anthems. He makes nerdy music for RPG's, mostly focused on DND. I listen mostly to his parodies, but he has completely original music as well that is royalty free.

Ginny Di is the last one for now I think. I don't think music is her main focus, but she does have songs that she has done. She also has a lot of DND stories and tips on her channel as well as some cosplay stuff.
I'm Ginny Di: Singer, YouTuber, cosplayer, tabletop gaming nerd! On this channel, you'll find advice for tabletop players and game masters,
Reblog with a REAL artist (or multiples) you want to share in protest of the AI infestation into the music and art community. I've noticed that a lot of the "AI artists" I come across are geared towards nerdy listeners and I don't know if that's because I listen to nerdy music a lot or if these AI music makers are targeting smaller communities that don't have a lot of music geared towards them specifically but whatever is going on it has got to stop. Let's do our best to support real people instead of machines. If you have been fooled by AI music, don't feel too bad. It's difficult to tell at first glance or listen if it's ai or not. Like Mad Eye Moody once said "CONSTANT VIGILANCE". It's needed to keep the AI music makers at bay, but it can be exhausting having to do thorough research on every artist you come across to make sure they are a real person or people. Anyway, I think that's all I have to say for now. Be safe. Fight the AI dark lords and support real people. Good luck out there soldiers.
