People who complain about abusive ships are usually valid until it has literally NO connection to real life.
people will be crying and pissing about ships like... A jester that is trying to get a king's soul, which was his soul in the first place. And the jester is kinda obsessed with the king because he is lonely, the king awakens and asks the jester to be his friend and it's very implied that the jester is worthy of redemption. (Actually all the villains ngl) And then people complaining about a ship that's literally just an old man and a fourth dimension demon....
Like idk, I'm just spit balling but those ships don't sound like they romanticize abuse.
