Finally!! I’ve been looking for this video for weeks, this video is a compilation of the small details that make the Jak and Daxter series feel fleshed out.
Some of it I was aware of, like the adaptive music. But other details like the environmental storytelling and what it tells us about the world and how our actions in previous missions directly impact the forthcoming missions.
I won’t spoil it, but I’ll just say that if I lived in Haven City and heard Jak’s testimony on what he did for Krew, I might consider banishing him too
The Michael Myers mask used in the first Halloween film, originated from a cast of William Shatner's face, made for the 1975 horror film The Devil's Rain (which is about a curse, eyeless cultists, a Sheriff named Owens, a doctor named Sam Richards, satanists...)
Michael M(B)yers @greenfiend :)
The little sticker (or drawing?) of a man in a white mask or with a white face behind Will in the Zombie Boy scene
The night we see Max wearing Michael Myers mask, Mike leaves Will alone, and Will almost gets possessed by the Mind Flayer. But then Mike comes back and snaps him out of the vision (btw, here the parallels between Will in this scene, Mike in the basement in 1x01, Barb taken by the Demogorgon and Billy possessed in 3x01)
Then, in Mike's basement, Will says that he feels like he's stuck between two slides, and Mike says that if they're both going crazy, they'll go crazy together. Yeah, Michael and William.
Under the Shrine of Resurrection in the Depths...
So I noticed that, more or less beneath the Shrine of Resurrection in TotK, there's a location called "Secret Spring of Revival" that heals half a heart at a time instead of just a quarter of a heart. I thought that was super cool!!! Was that how the Shrine of Resurrection worked maybe?
It’s cool how Newt uses her giant arms to stand in the water.
Also here’s Newt swimming.
NEAT DETAILS in “Incredibles 2″ (and little things I just enjoyed or thought were interesting) *spoilers ahead*
---Characters’ chests rise and fall realistically with their breathing. I noticed this specifically with Elastigirl that whenever she laughed or chuckled, her shoulders and chest would awesomely emulate the different intensities of the movement. Even sitting still, each character would move as if breathing in real life. Just wow.
---The texture of Jack-Jack’s baby onsie, it had little beads of the fabric poking up in a pattern. Looked super realistic and cute.
---Again, the textures, Bob’s grey shirt had noticeable and detailed WRINKLES on it!!!
--When Violet snorted water out her nose, her eyes watered and reddened
---The way Helen’s hair was messed up after stopping the runaway train
---WHEN THE SCREENSLAVER WAS FRICKING STANDING ON THE LEFT OF THE SCREEN IN THE SHADOWS WAITING AND WATCHING HELEN WHEN SHE OPENED THE DOOR TO THE HIDEOUT. TERRIFYING.
---The badassery of Helen Parr as she fricking smashed feet-first through the helicopter window, and the cool way the glass shattered
---After Frozone stopped the Everjust from crashing, he massaged his hands as if they were sore/tired
---The satisfying PSSHHT of Frozone’s ice
---When Evelyn was drinking with Elastigirl in the lounge chair, her fingers fidgeted and traced the rim of the alcohol glass
---The distinctive shine of the red embellishments on Elastigirl’s new suit
---Jack-Jack’s widened eyes and little finger point when he sees Helen’s new bike
---”Hey, I had a mohawk. There’s a lot about me you don’t know.” and “Ah, you didn’t miss anything...”
---On the Everjust there were several Indian superheroes with bindis, super cool
---Evelyn’s annoyed head swivel at her brother
---”Hey, you’re my biggest fan. I-I mean I’m your biggest fan...shoot.”
---”Oh my God. YESSS.”
---The 60′s style skirts the backgound characters wore were so cute
---When Bob falls into the indoor moat and angrily goes BLLRRGH, it sounds like the same audio used in the first one when Bob realizes Syndrome’s tracker bomb is gonna go off underwater
---The ticking of Screenslaver’s wall bomb sounds like the ticking of Bomb Voyage’s bombs
---The sharp white outlines on Helen when she’s hypnotized and battling Bob in the darkened room, looks really cool
I was rewatching some of Season 2 of Yu Yu Hakusho and I literally just realized the cards say Nintendo on them.
