i don't think that people that are willing to use ai to generate their own ghibli style char are the same ones who would be interested in a ghibli style commission of mine anyways but thanks to that trend i kinda don't want to draw ghibli style characters anymore 😭 now it feels not only repetitive but tacky even, they turned ghibli style into the modern version of the faceless outline disgusting drawings that were popular a few years ago and i'm also kinda afraid of people accusing me of using ai like when my ghibli zelda fanarts became viral on twitter and the rude comments made me have a panic attack cause i don't know how to deal with too much notoriety lol

kinda sad tho considering that ghibli style commissions have been my main income source for the last 3 years or so, but anyways i guess that just means i have to focus more in improving my own style so one day it can be popular enough for people mainly wanting commissions in my own style :)
