An act of violence

At the very least all of us deserve to have our suffering, our pain, our struggle recognized by others.  When you don’t recognize that our bodies are a combat zone that we deal with on a daily basis and that it affects our outlook on life, our mood, and our emotions.  This lack of recognition is an act of violence, like a slap in the face.
