Ok so this is a project I have been wanting to work towards for so long. So I’ve started collecting reference and sourcing materials. I really want to do this character justice as this is one of my favorite shows ever! And in typical Krazy Kat fashion I plan to make my life hell by making full individual layers all from authentic silk, and hand dye and hand paint each layer. 😅 Woohoo!! New year, new cosplay planning! I never stick to these but I still like to do them because it's nice to look back and see what I was thinking at the beginning of the year. 2020 is coming at me hard with series I want to watch so who knows where I'll end up?!? 🙏 Priestess was something I had planned to do last year and just didn't have time. 🐰Meroko is from the Aruna Tenemura anniversary Cafe and as soon as I saw her she was added to the to do list. 🎀 Fumi satisfies a desire I've had for a while to do a costume with traditional Japanese armor elements (and bonus I found some awesome lime taffeta last year) 🚀 Mirage who will stay on my to do list until I finally make her. It’s time for my annual cosplans of 2020! I had two of these on my list for this year that I didn’t get around to, but at least one is confirmed for next year! -Cinderella will be making her debut at Katsucon 2020. I’ve really fallen in love with her as a character after all the time I’ve spent performing her story this year, and she’s become so close to my heart! -I also fell in love with Consul Valerius from The Arcana, and he will also be debuting at Katsucon 2020. Sometimes, the desire to do the right thing becomes twisted and corrupted thanks to power, and his storyline is so intriguing! -Aurelian and I have had Anya and Odette on our lists forever, so we’re making that happen somehow, by hook or by crook! Odette has always been one of my favorite non-Disney princesses, especially because of her beautiful voice! -Finally, Nightwing, who I’ve had on my list for actual years. I have everything prepared for this costume except the suit itself, and that’s a body dysmorphia issue. I want to push myself next year and do things I never thought I’d be comfortable doing—and that means finally dressing up as my all-time favorite superhero. What are your 2020 cosplans?
