Prompt 12 - Warmth
@jegulus-microfic September 12, Word count 124
The fire in Gryffindor Common room was blazing. They’d spent the afternoon in Hogsmeade in the pouring rain, and they were all chilled to their cores by the time they got back to the castle. James refused to let Regulus go back down to the dungeons and basically carried him the long way up to Gryffindor Tower.
Peter was playing chess with Mary. Lily and Marlene were discussing a History of Magic essay that was due on Monday. Sirius and Remus were impossibly curled up together under a heavy blanket in one of the armchairs, and he had Regulus nestled against his chest, his cheeks flushed from the warmth of the fire they sat beside. He couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant afternoon.
