I was SUFFERING in the Thaisha/Occtis debacle because I understand both sides. Thaisha is SO valid to be pissed at Occtis from what he said to Vaelus about resurrecting Sylandri. She has the right to be panicking about the world and her son. At the same time, it has to be such a pain to be constantly equated to your fucked up family and have all the people around you doubt and analyze your every move. Occtis is ALSO valid to point that out and show how bad he's being treated when he's trying to help them.

This is so hard, and I'm enjoying it a lot, but I wanna cry for them all.
