Creative expantion and time to grow
Just been sat on my couch all day, as the weather has been abysmal, so have not been out on the bike as I would of liked. So decided to watch some of John Reardons projects he has done, will try and find Desrepair to see on youtube as I don't watch tv anymore. I loved a street cat named Bob, who helped a recovering herion addict overcome the final stages of his addiction. Getting off methedone a substitute used to help get off heroin.
So watched Bloodhound brothers. There is only 5 short episodes, and yes his wife plays his wife and I suspect they used their own son to play their son. It is two brothers playing P.Is, and the banter/ indults were hilarious, I could see Johns humour wit and sarcasim at play along with his co partner, they played off against eachother hilariously, and even the end which does need resolving, looked more comical then it did dramatic, it could pass off as satire, to me. I loved hearing John cuss and insult, as one is used to the "squeaky clean" Charlie and he really shook off his limitations in terms of not being held back creatively by production or someones elses charactor. I hope he does more of his own stuff, asside from the material he has done already. It was greatly entertaining. You could tell it was filmed using limited filming equipment, but edited well. Much like the short films by Dust productions and others I watched during covid. Still chuckling at the banter.
