Let me start by saying this:
and I had been discussing what to read, and we both came to a decision that didn’t make much difference. We have decided to read the same book and exchange ideas afterwards. She runs a review blog, and we might write this review together posting either here or on hers.

Ok, so, as you can see, for the first time ever (although I am saying this for the second time) I’ll be writing this review with a friend of mine who’s spending her vacation here in Brazil — and let me admit: she’s as crazy as me when it comes to reading, but obviously she doesn’t go this far writing reviews, and after some heated discussion we’ve agreed it wold be interesting.
Now, you won’t be seeing a M (for me) and a C (for her) when you start reading this review, cause well — WHE HAVE SPENT GOOD PART OF OUR AFTERNOON FIGHTING FOR THE BEST WORD, EXPRESSION, among other things to make it a pleasurable read for you guys but also, not allowing this review to approach many topics. We wrote it together with the intention to make a classy, nice, and (tried to) informative review.
For E. (that’s her initial) it was the first time reading a book by Sylvia Day unlike me, who have read this book once, and many other titles as well. Next you’ll notice that we have included a snapshot before closing this review, as I always do.
It was an awesome reading, dynamic which left us reading it non-stop, although it took longer to one of us to read it fully.
The main characters, Eva and Gideon, both are survivors of sexual abuse, and both will have to come to terms with themselves so they can make their relationship work.
Gideon Cross is a twenty-something successful business man, who owns near to everything in NYC, and yet he is single, charming, dangerous (according to our main female character), complicated, and good-looking.
Eva Tramell is a twenty-four year old who just moved to NYC with her model BFF, Cary, who is also complicated as both Gideon and Eva.
One thing that can struck pretty badly with this book is their characters lack of respect for their fellow friend, girlfriend, and daughter PRIVACY’S. Eva’s mother would track her cellphone signal while Gideon, would track Eva’s record: like where she went to school, gym, etc…Two stalkers in one book: hold your hearts.
Eva and Gideon has more ups and downs in one chapter than you can count, so imagine how it would be like with the whole book. They also have a pretty good understanding with each other, but they lack on their communication skills; and up yet, while reading the book, you can feel their connection (physical/sexual connection), you can be sad with them, you can be mad with them (and everyone, really), you can adore them, and you can hate them. It’s like surfing a wave from Hawaii, pretty intense.
We decided to tell you no more, but we also want to let you know that both characters have secrets - that you will either find out about them reading between the lines, or you will be told.
We don’t have more to say about this book now, except: go and read it. Bared to You is part of Crossfire Novel, which now have two more books: Reflected in You, and Entwined with You, and many others coming your way once Sylvia Day is finished.
We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we did, and take a friend to discuss it - pretty amazing what can come up with a “serious/friendly" discussion. We also hope that you enjoyed this joint-review thing-y. We are not sure if this will happen again, cause one of this BFF’s will be heading back home, so- it will be a bit difficult to discuss it through Skype, or something… but if you guys enjoyed it, hit this little gray heart, so that its color turn out red - and we’ll know if you guys dig it enough for it to happen again.
