For its Kickstarter , they are asking only for $1 from each backer to help make the street food market a reality. Another aspect of what makes this project unique is that it revolves around bringing together immigrant, refugee, and indigenous entrepreneurs, embracing the cuisine they have to offer. King Street Market could open as early as summer of 2020, or more likely, in the summer of 2021, but these are projections and are subject to change.
