-Alcatraz by Crytek (Crysis 2 Nano Edition )
Artist : unknown ( First4Figure )
I think the sole reason for Crysis 2 being the most pirated game is because the devs pretty much fucked over the pc gamers, when the game was released i found no reason as to why i should buy it.
The pc version had fucking "PRESS START" instead of press any button when you started it up, FUCK THAT, the multiplayer was some tacked on bullshit, they made the powers of the suit way too streamlined, the challenge of managing your suit's power reserves and abilities was removed.
And finally it took them like a month to get dx11 support and high-res textures, stuff that should be available on launch
The launch of Crysis 2 was a train wreck
Crysis 2 Review
Crysis 2 is a great action adventure game and no matter what console you play it on, its great looking graphically and one of the most fun games I’ve played. If your looking for it to be similar to the original Crysis, it has the same feel but is a much more focused adventure than the first game. Crysis 2 is also much more liner than it's predecessor, but it's for the better.
When the game starts you are shot down mid-flight in a helicopter and wash up on the shore of post apocalyptic New York City. You are rescued by the only returning character from the original Crysis, Prophet. He immediately equips you with the Nanosuit off his back and kills himself. This exciting start draws you in from the get-go. The story only accelerates from there. As the man with the Nanosuit the Cell Soldiers want to take it from you and use the technology for themselves. Throughout the story you receive requests from civilians trying to obtain your help to stop the ongoing alien invasion. With your new-found powers from the Nanosuit, you grow power hungry mowing down groups of aliens and Cell Soldiers on your path of destruction through the city.
Although the story is very fast paced and an excellent experience, it takes a back seat to the action. One complaint i have is that i had so much fun killing the aliens and Cell Soldiers while switching through the amazing Nanosuit powers such as strength, invisibility, armor and speed that I wasn't as focused on the story, but more focused on who my next victim would be. Also, at points the game can be very difficult but it is never to hard to beat after another try or two, unless, of course you’re playing on the harder difficulties.
Something I really liked was how balanced the Nanosuit powers were. The depleting power bar adds more to the challenge of the game and it can be deadly if you don't pay attention. But if you use your powers wisely this will be your favorite part of the game.
the fun doesn’t end with the story either. Crytech has included multiplayer, and it is truly epic. The multiplayer is as fun as the single player with a very unique feel. You play as Cell Soldiers who are fitted with all of the Nanosuit powers. This makes for a very unique feel and a very cool multiplayer experience... especially if you're sick of the usual Call of Duty multiplayer rip off that most first person shooters include these days. Crysis 2 is a great start for the salvation of the first person shooter and I'm excited to see what Crytech comes up with next, I highly recommend Crysis 2 to anyone who enjoys the first person shooter genre.
