Oh I have thought of something diabolical

So for my chimera species for Gravity falls, mother chimera are extremely protective when it comes to their young. Think mother bears when it comes to their cubs

So what if Stanford while looking for new anomalies accidentally stumbled upon a mother chimera and her cub, but unbeknownst to him, he isn’t aware that her cub is nearby. So when the chimera attacks, Ford shoots it to try and protect himself when running away won’t do him any good

When the mother Chimera falls over dead, the only thing he hears is the sound her cub crying in the nearby distance. Feeling immense guilt for needlessly killing a mother, Ford takes the cub in to raise in her stead

And from that day onwards he never dares try to harm any other anomalies unless with reason

Concept:

So Jaskier’s always composing music and he’s always saying every thought he has out loud, right? What if whenever he talks about rhymes and rhythms and musical theory and such, Geralt’s secretly actually paying attention. Close attention. And slowly, slowly, over the course of years or decades, he’s writing his own song. A song praising his bard, since his bard has done so much praising of him. A secret song, full of emotions he could never say in ordinary conversation. And the song would be Hozier’s NFWMB.
