Link gasped softly into the lips of his lover as he was lifted off the ground and pushed flush against a tree.

They kissed passionately. Like the world depended on this very thing. Sidon was his breath, his spark that he craved with the very being of his soul. He had never yearned more for another to this capacity, and it was intoxicating. The gentle touches, the lips against his, the warm breaths, and soft pants. It was everything Link desired.

In his time in captivity with Ganon, he had only known violence, pain, and abuse. It was never gentle and it always left him bruised and battered. But Sidon held him like he was glass. Kissed him like he was his oxygen. He was so careful in his touches to not hurt him. So gentle in a way he hadn’t known before.

When they finally separated, they were left panting and breathless. Staring into each others' eyes. Link felt giddy and couldn’t help the grin that spread across his face. He rested his forehead against Sidon’s with a sigh, who grinned back up at him. Sidon placed him on the ground gently, but staying close to him as he did.

“That was…. Amazing…” Sidon panted out. “You are incredible, Link.”

Link flushed more and kissed his cheek. “As are you.” He signed back.

“I can’t believe we did that.” Sidon grinned. “I have wanted to kiss you since the night we slept by each other. Since the celebration back at the Domain. But never wanted to overstep.”

Link looked into his eyes with a soft smile placating his lips.

“I wanted the same.” He signed.

I was watching the scene where Superman is trying to shoo away the dog so he can let go of the monster's paw and I love the fact that when he does let go, there's a little girl looking horrified, thinking that she just witnessed Superman getting squished.

Then he pops up again and her little arms just go \o/

KK is still awake

Barely

Lying on her side, scrolling on her phone with the brightness turned all the way down

Trying not to move too much so she doesn’t wake her

She glances over

And just stares for a second

Soft smile without even realizing it

“…you’re actually knocked out” she whispers

No answer

Obviously

KK puts her phone down slowly

Careful

Like the smallest sound would break the moment

She shifts a little closer anyway

Tucks the blanket up over Kayleigh’s shoulder

Kayleigh doesn’t move

Just exhales a little deeper

KK whispers again

“…you better not steal the whole bed again”

Silence

Then Kayleigh mumbles something in her sleep

Barely understandable

KK pauses

Leans in slightly

“…what?”

Kayleigh shifts, still asleep

“…mm… you’re annoying…”

KK freezes

Then covers her mouth to stop herself from laughing

“…I’m annoying?” she whispers

Kayleigh doesn’t respond

Just tightens her hold around KK a little like she doesn’t mean to let go

KK relaxes again

Stares at her for a second

Then softer

“…you’re so tired you’re arguing in your sleep now?”

Kayleigh mumbles again

This time clearer

“…stay…”

KK goes quiet

Completely still for a second

Then her expression softens completely

“…I am staying” she whispers back

Even though Kayleigh can’t hear it

KK slowly shifts closer

Lays her head down next to hers

Careful not to wake her

But close enough to feel her breathing

A minute passes

Then Kayleigh shifts slightly

Still asleep

“…don’t leave…”

KK immediately shakes her head slightly

“…not going anywhere”

Kayleigh hums quietly in her sleep

Relaxing again

Face pressing a little more into the pillow

And KK just watches her

Quiet

Soft

Calm

KK whispers one last time

“…you talk too much even when you’re asleep”

Then smiles

“…still cute though”

She turns off her phone

The room goes darker

Not scary dark

Just them dark

And eventually KK closes her eyes too

Still holding her

Still right there

Like she promised

Even if Kayleigh never asked.
