I am absolutely OBSESSED with tweos and claudrien, but I have to ask: is there anyone in canon you actually ship Adrien with? Love square or otherwise (especially otherwise). Or is everyone else just meh?

I don't think I will ever be 100% down for any of the lovesquare lol. I'm not really sure why? Cause I used to think it just didn't have the 'right drama' to it, but then you see fics like FaOLL and they give it that and it's just... still not it to me? Maybe the lovesquare just needs homoerotic/cannibalistic vibes for me to be into it XD

As for other canon... Adribrina has grown on me. This is entirely @generalluxun and @lazyartist16s's doing, I will admit. If I can't have my boy be a melodramatic freak, then I'll at least let him be cute and adorable with someone who would truly appreciate him. Also it's a fellow cat/dog ship, so I physically, legally have to stan.

ok ok as for updates: it's been a long time coming because ch52 is heavy, and i've gotten stuck on a few things chief of which is I'm not sure how directly I want to describe gabriel lashing out at adrien. it's not for very long, buuuuut considering how difficult the Valentine's Day WIP is, I definitely have a lower tolerance for writing skin-crawling stuff than I think. (I think the relative ease that I churned out Ch37 is the cause of this delusion lol)

claudrien breakup is legitimately so funny to me cause like.

adrien deals with it by splaying himself out on a fainting couch like he's in an Austen Novel, holding a bottle of Prosecco by the neck, and wistfully monolouging:

"Was love ever real, Plagg? Or is it merely an illusion of hearts, meant to shield us from the bitter cold of our life's solitude~? Alas! Even if such were the case, I shall let myself fall into it regardless, for all of man's existence has been to fight and succumb to our vices..."

But Claudia's like "yeah fuck mourning this breakup i'm asking my boss for more hours and getting on that GRIND."

Is your Adrien allergic to Peacock feathers...lol how's that work with Peahen(female Peacock) Claw's(Do feel like typing up her whole name) if so?

Nope! I kind of hate the whole feather allergy thing (so much so I even lampshade it in the fic by making it an obvious lie that Adrien tells to explain the uh... unusual amount of used tissues in his bedroom trashcan, iykyk), so he is very much not.

I could see it eventually being his excuse for why he starts to act so different around her. No, no, his face is red around Pavino because of fever! He's allergic! Clearly! ...no other reason.

also, on a related note: Pavino being the Spanish masculine form was intentional! I swear hearing somewhere that Mayura was actually the Sanskrit masculine form for "Peacock" (and the feminine form is "Mayuri"), and I actually kind of dig it? Pavino just fits Claudia better imo than Pavina, and if Cynic is any indication, Claudia doesn't shy away from being masculine (some of her other forms I have in mind, such as BugBite and Ballbuster/Longhorn*, are incredibly superhumanly tall and muscular, just because Claudia wanted it that way)

for a while, the TWEOS parallel to the New York Special was simply that Adrien wasn't allowed to go on the school trip and he just stayed home (and this was before he met Claudia so obviously no her).

...and yet.

i an beginning to wonder if it would be neat to write a spinoff one-shot/AU^2 of sorts with Adrien and Claudia in NYC. i have some ideas
