#Repost @spiritbaddie ・・・ Commentary by @frederickruss. #DAILYWARRIORWISDOM. Had a conversation today with a friend who was struggling with their shadow / dark side. Here’s what I told him: The shadow is fairly mysterious because it has not been integrated yet into the whole of who you are. It’s all you. There are powerful pearls that are buried in the shadowy sub-personality that require your attention. The key is the recognition that shadow isn’t whole. It thinks it is. But it secretly longs for reunion in the all in all - the tai chi of you into a unified whole. You belong to you. All of your parts not just the parts that are socially acceptable. Integration means loving on yourself unconditionally regardless in what soul fragment shows up or an orchestrated group of soul fragments. Above all, regardless of the manner of their appearance, see soul fragments as aspects of you which may or may not be articulate enough to reveal what your logic wants to understand. The way to understand them is by opening the heart valve, intertwined with logic. They want your attention. And want what children want - To be seen, noticed, validated, heard, as they have something very important to tell you and get very frustrated if or when you feel to listen to them or avoid them altogether. These fragments can feel very frustrated and angry for every time they been avoided. So it takes time to develop a relationship especially with parts of ourselves that are “tough” but needing a lot of attention. It is not easy work. We have to lean in and be available to love unconditionally and to really listen to what the sole power just telling you. Mind you, the Soul part may not be as evolved; In me even resonate like a much younger version of you perhaps even adolescent. The point is to receive what it’s telling you without judgment and with a lot of love and compassion. The soul part has something that you need and want to proceed. It’s a tremendous seed of power, wisdom, and love that is raw and unvarnished. For every step forward that you’re willing to take to integrate these soul parts, you’ll notice a tremendous influx of energy, insight, and knowledge begin to crest.

If you want illusion, go to a movie. In life be realz with yourself, with others, with all life. Lesson 7: Your new life is gonna cost you your old one. Pay the price. Lose the bullshit. UBU in all your stunning glory. Lesson 8: Don’t worry about everybody else. Keep your focus on you. Fill up your own tank. Don’t expect others to fill it up for you.
