Tang bo
~ would you fall in love with me again
going out in a village somewhere and the 5 swords happen to look at chung myung who's staring disbelievingly in the distance, tears rolling down his cheeks.
they start to panic, fussing over him and asking if something's wrong but then chung myung starts running. no, not running... chasing something.
someone.
they catch sight of a boy with green eyes very clearly running away from them, and they do all they can to stop/catch him. but he's tricky, managing to exhaust them when they corner him in an alley. he's just about to jump over and escape, when a sniffle breaks the tension.
simultaneously, everyone turns to look at chung myung.
suddenly, all traces of arrogance and cockiness was wiped from his face. instead, his eyes were glassy and cheeks flushed from crying, tears still clinging to his skin. he's never looked so... lost.
all at once, it's like their target's wind was taken out of his sails. he quickly turns around and runs up to chung myung, hemming and hawing but wiping his tears away with his sleeve so gently.
"aiya, i don't think i've ever seen dosa-nim cry before," he teases, but his voice is unbearably fond and wistful. "i'm sorry for running — i didn't want us to meet again like this." at this point, the five swords are stunned. someone was touching their feared, asura-like junior brother, who was crying, and talking to him so gently — without getting his hands cut off.
all of the sudden, the boy seemed all the more formidable in their eyes. who was this, who could tame mount hua's divine dragon? "is it you?" chung myung whispered, but even as the boy rubbed his cheek, chung myung didn't touch him, as if he was afraid that he were an apparition that would disappear if startled.
"dosa-nim," the boy replied, sounding incredibly endeared, taking chung myung's hand himself and intertwining their fingers. "i won't run anymore. i won't run from you anymore, so— so stop crying, okay?"
Tang Bo ethical Question
Part two to this HERE
Tang Bo is reincarnated not Cheong Myeong. Everything else stays the same.
Tang bo is far off tang family member, he knows about what happened to mount hua and his family.
He knows that Cheong myeong is dead.
He also knows that the heavenly demon will return.
What does he do.
NOTE:
He is still a child here (like cm was)
He doesn't know much about the heavenly demon aside from the fact that it killed CM and will return.
What does Tang Bo do?
He kills everyone indiscriminately.
He kills everyone but his family (-elders?)
He kills everyone but his family and mount hua.
He helps mount hua in secret and stays with his family to kill cheonma.
He leaves Mount Hua alive but not his family.
He waits to kill cheonma then everyone.
He waits to kill cheonma but spares some people.
He infiltrate's the sapa to take cheonma down
He kills his clan elders to kill cheonma
he goes to mont hua.
He kills himself
Something else (tell me what you think)
Imagine having a love hate relationship with Cheon Ma… couldn’t be me…!
Oh Tang We, I feel ya bro
Context: Tang Bo (as a beggar) became a member of the Tang Family by bullshitting his way through (plus beating the Tang's up), and Tang We is NOT HAVING IT-
I like the au with Tang Bo's reincarnation, but I can't help but think of an au where at the time of death in canon, Tang Bo survived, was badly damaged and so went into a coma. When he wakes up a few months later, the war is over and his best friend is dead. And then a hundred years later, he meets a boy who looks just like him.
