Dan Heng looked over his shoulder when the sound of the door opening reached his ears. Narrowing his eyes, the archivist tried to recognize the figure by its silhouette before saying something.

“Dan Heng, are you here?” Caelus said, walking inside the room and letting the door close behind him. With the sound of steps coming from behind a shelf, Dan Heng showed up, wearing a rather calm look on his voice.

“Yes, I’m here,” he said, looking at the trailblazer. “Do you need anything?”

Caelus shook his head, scratching the back of his head as he tried to come up with a proper answer. “I… just wanted to check on you. I haven’t seen you all day, so I got a little worried,” he admitted, hoping his ‘futile’ reason wouldn't annoy the archivist. “I hope I’m not bothering you or anyth-”

“Don’t worry about it,” Dan Heng interrupted and, despite his usual cold facade, Caelus could tell he was being kind of friendly. “I wasn’t working on anything important.”

The answer gave Caelus a mixed feeling, making the man raise an eyebrow in curiosity. As much as it soothed his previous worries, it opened room for a new question. “Wait, what were you doing back there, then?”

As the silence started covering up all the noises in the room, Caelus’s curiosity only grew larger. “I mean, I could barely see you from the entrance, it was almost as if you were hiding,” he joked, letting out a nervous chuckle as he hoped to at least ease the tension between them.

Dan Heng sighed, his intuition telling him that running from the topic would only lead to further questioning and, even worse, ruin his whole “plan”. 

“Truth to be told, that was what I was doing,” the archivist replied, trying to make it sound as normal as possible.

“Ah, I see- huh?! You were?!” It took him a few seconds to realize, not expecting his suspicions to be confirmed like that. “Why? Hiding from what?”

Dan Heng pinched the bridge of his nose, letting out an audible groan. It was such an absurd situation, such an embarrassing position to be in. But, looking on the bright side, maybe talking it out with Caelus would help.

“From March,” the archivist sighed, crossing his arms as he looked away, avoiding eye contact out of shyness, “she is probably… hunting me down right now.”

“W-what? From March? What happened?”

Was he really doing it? He guessed so, “we were hanging together earlier today and, for some reason, she started complaining about ‘how cold I am sometimes’ or something along these lines…”

“Uh-huh…” Caelus nodded, trying to follow Dan Heng’s line of thought.

“So, at first I didn’t care because it should be just another one of her ramblings, but she felt like I was ignoring her and started poking me.”

Caelus widened his eyes. From that sentence, he could guess where this was going and why Dan Heng seemed so annoyed. Taking some slow and quiet steps towards the archivist, the trailblazer nodded, humming in agreement.

“And- ahm, well, it felt… a little- ugh, a little ticklish,” he continued the story, not noticing how Caelus was slowly approaching him, to disturbed by the idea of voicing something like that, “a-anyway, I think this flipped some switch inside her; She started saying things, I guess to try tease me, and making a fuss over the idea of me being ticklish.”

“So… that’s why you decided to hide here? To avoid March tickling you?”

“Yes- Well, no, I mean, it’s not like that. It’s just that I’m not in the mood to fool around with her and I have work to do-”

“But are you?”

Dan Heng quickly turned his face towards Caelus as those words landed on his ears. The boy was merely inches away from him at that point, making the same face as March did when she made her little discovery.

He needed to think fast. He needed to…

…try to run away from Caelus before it is too late.

"Noho! Stay away papaha!" Screamed the pinkette.

The day had gone on as normal, Loid struggling to get Anya to study, per usual. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't the 'fun' type, his studying tactics bland for the little girls tastes, so it was obvious why she's complain about this type of work.

Well, that was until Loid had accidentally found out about the great Anya's weakness. He was fed up with her attitude and went to pick her up, only for her to move out the way and get her side squeezes just enough to make the young one shriek. With this newfound information, he decided it'd be the best way to tire her into studying.. that was until it became a complete game of cat and mouse. Embarrassingly enough, the spy found this.. fun? Is that the word? He didn't know, right now that didn't matter, what mattered was catching this troublesome child and getting her into her studies.

With a wrong turn, she had slipped and skid her knee slightly, making her well up with tears, seeing this, Loid's father side came into play as he pulled her into his lap, investigating the knee to see how bad it was (even though they both were overreacting now).

"P-Papa." Whined the smaller, a singular tear streaming down her face, followed suit with a few more, the sight of seeing her hurt physically and mentally hurting him just as much, if not, maybe even worse. "Hey, it's okay, how about I put a bandage on-"

"Can you kiss it better?"

What? What type of question is that? Is she stu- no, she's a child, she doesn't know any better. Loid refused to stoop down any lower, holding up what little pride he is by closing his eye's, "Anya, I can't do- that.." he peeked and eye open, and he instantly regretted it. She looked at him with puppy dog eye's, her bottom lip sticking out, along with sniffles here and there from her crying, ugh.. maybe it wouldn't hurt, he supposed.

"If I kiss it better, will you study?" He asked, not surprised when she shook her head. He sighed and smirked, mischief sparkling in him like never before, "Fine then, I guess the tickle monster will take his toll on you." He wiggled his finger's, his heart tugging at every angle seeing her squeal and squirm in place, her once crackling voice from crying now filled with playful excitement.

And with a new goal in mind, his finger's descended onto her tummy, the corners of his mouth tugging wider as he heard the excited laughter escape her lips, gosh how was she so adorable!?

"EEP! Pa-Pahahahapa! Nohoho! Bahad pahahapa! Bahad!" She playfully scolded, making him snicker slightly, "Oh, I'm the bad one now? Sorry agent Anya, but I've got to put you in your place." He then growled, acting like a 'monster' as he blew a raspberry against her tummy, "AHA! WAHAIT! MAHAHAMA! MAHAMA HEHELP!" She reached out, "Mama won't save you- WOAH-!" Loid squawked as he found himself pinned against the ground. He was so caught up in his game that he didn't even notice Yor came home early.

"Sorry, but.. I have to save agent Anya! It's my duty!" Yor played along. Loid had tried to get up but found himself completely stuck, how much strength did she have!? Yor couldn't helo but pay attention to Anya almost immediately, "Oh my, Anya, you're hurt!" Yor said, worried from the skidded knee. "Papa did it." Anya lied, that damn child! How dare she-

"Eh!? I did not- no!" Loid found himself squirming slightly as he felt Yor scribble against his side, "How rude of you! And while I wasn't around to protect her either?" She playfully scoffed offense, though Loid couldn't help but still be offended. "A punishment must be in order." Yor demanded, now sitting herself comfortable against his lower back, nails skittering against his clothed side's with relative ease, even though he had extra protection and immaculate endurance, he couldn't help himself but feel this get to him rather quickly. He puffed out random splurts of giggles here and there as Yor kept being persistent with the tickling.

What he didn't expect was for Anya to poke at his socked foot, the newly targeted spot making ot even more difficult to hold in, Anya and Yor exchanged glances before smirking down at Loid, making him buck as Yor massaged her palms against the back of his ribs, whilst Anya sat down and scribbled her tiny hands over his foot. If he weren't trained in endurance, he'd be at their mercy right now, yet here he was cackling boisterously into his sleeves, his body quivering from the tingly sensations, ghost tickles making their way up to his stomach and fluttering there like a heap of butterflies with feather like appendages.

"Kitchi-kitchi-koo, honey~" Yor's confidence came in, leaning down and whispering into his ear, making him snort and scrunch up his shoulder's to cover his ear's. "What's wrong? Does this not.. tickle your fancy?" She'd give him an obviously rhetorical question, yet with his state right now, he didn't realize, "Y-YohoHOu ahARE!" He squealed into his sleeves once again, ugh, if Anya weren't behind him right now, he'd be slamming his feet into the ground to try and reduce the ticklish sensations just the slightest bit.

"If it really doesn't tickle, how about you try and het up right now?" She challenged, keeping at her spot. Loid took this literally as he used his forearms to boost him up, only to snort and flop back down when she scribbled into his pits each time he attempted to get up. "KYAHAH! Y-Yo-YOHOR! NOHO! Wahahait, thiHIHIS IHI'sn't fahAhAIr!" His attempts became futile as he just gave in, curling inwards ever so slightly, snorting and squealing each time she'd come back up to scribble under his arm's, before returning to massaging at the back of his ribs.

As his laughter became wheezy and crackled, that's when Yor stopped, "Anya, his had eniugh sweetheart!" She smiled sweetly at the pinkette, the young girl stopping and walking up to pat Loid on the head, "Want to get him a cup of water? He deserves it." Yor said, Anya immediately going off to get that cup of water.

"Sorry if I took it too far!" Yor immediately changed back, her cheeks dusted a bright pink as she muttered apologies, "I'm super sorry, I was just in the moment an-mmph?" Her cheeks couldn't get any redder, her speech cut short when Loid gave her a gentle kiss, his cheeks flushed and his breathing still unsteady along with some random giggles here and there from the tickle attack before. "You're okay, if anything, I, eh.. en-enjoyed it?" He said, making Yor look as if she passed away, "HUH? YOR ARE YO-" "AAA YOU'RE SO CUTE!" She hugged him, smothering his face with kisses, making him chuckle, blush and smile widely, enjoying the affection.

"Mama and papa are flirting."

"ANYA!"

It seems Loid forgot what he was tickling Anya for anyways.

venti slings his arms around xiao's shoulders, pulling him close. "it's cold," he slurs, and xiao can't tell if it's from alcohol or sleep.

he snakes his arms around venti's waist, ignoring the way he flinches. or, rather, not ignoring it; saving it in his mind for later.

"xiao," venti whines, drawing out the last letter. the voice comes from right next to xiao's ear. he hadn't realised venti's face was so close. "xiao…"

"yes?" xiao answers softly, bringing a hand up and carding his fingers gently through venti's hair. the other hand slips under his shirt—his corset long since discarded on the floor—and rubs his back soothingly. venti sighs contentedly.

"i like you a lot," he says. xiao lets out a breath of amusement.

"…i like you a lot, too." he gives venti's side a little squeeze. "sleep."

venti giggles, his face pressed into xiao's shoulder. "don' do that…"

"then go to sleep," xiao says, squeezing again, and again, and again until venti is releasing his hold on him in order to protect himself from the ticklish onslaught. he stops then; he doesn't want to go too far.

"mean," complains venti as he places kisses on the sensitive spot on xiao's neck, and xiao has to fight off laughter in order to tell him to knock it off.

xiao stays awake just long enough to watch venti drift off with a smile on his face, and he then proceeds to do the same.

A/N: miss dani you are going to cause me to have heart palpitations BRUHHH i love kunikida so so much and I'm in love with him and I am about to go bonkers ILY

i have such a hard time picking his tickle spots bc im a firm believer that he's at least a little tickly everywhere

IF I HAD TO PICK THO he's very tickly on his ribs, underarms, hips, and sides

he's also tickly on his neck and shoulders but those are his huffy giggle spots and those are EQUALLY as cute I'm in love

Dazai messes with him all the damn time with tickles and Kunikida hates it bc Dazai is really good at tickling and Kunikida cannot handle it

Dazai will tickle him in the worst situations too, like when he's writing something down or doing something else that's important

One time Kunikida held the door open for Dazai and Atsushi like a gentleman and Dazai jabbed him and he folded like a lawn chair he was so pissed and then Dazai just ran off

The other people in the office tickle Kunikida occasionally as well, but not like Dazai where it's planned

Sometimes Yosano will just rub his shoulder when shes walking by but she'll do it in a tickly way and he shudders

Ranpo will tickle him if he wants something like candy or whatever his heart happens to want at any given time but Kunikida will normally get him what he wants before the tickling happens lol

Atsushi and Tanizaki tend to stay away from Kunikida because they fear the backlash of tickling him

They've seen Dazai get got after tickling Kunikida... they are just a little scared now LOL

Kunikida can be a pretty intense ler mostly bc when he tickles someone its bc he's pissed off at them (more specifically, Dazai)

He doesn't normally tickle people tho, it's mostly Dazai that he tickles and it's only when Dazai's just been nonstop

He knows Dazai's spots and he'll take advantage of that and wait for the perfect time before he goes ham

When he's with a S/O, he's actually really sweet with tickles

He doesn't mind being tickled when it's his S/O, mostly bc he trusts them with his entire heart (SOBS)

Sometimes tho he won't ask but that's just bc he thinks that his S/O is being a little bit silly or something and he just nabs them and tickles them a bit

on a scale of 1-10, how ticklish are they? - considering the fact that he has avoided human contact for the past 10ish years, he assumes it's a 0. it's more like a solid 7.

where is their most ticklish spot(s)? - kaz is ticklish in weird places - his ears and neck, his arms, his hands, and his back are probably the most sensitive.

which spots are they not ticklish? - his bad leg, basically from hip to ankle is just painful when touched

what is their laugh like? - he doesn't laugh often, and when he does, it's usually humorless scoffs or quick chuckles. if he's tipsy and jesper makes a particularly funny joke, you can get a laugh out of him, and it'll be this deep, rugged sort of sound, gravelly like his voice always is. but when he gets tickled??? he becomes a giggler. his voice goes up an octave and he has no control over the sounds he's making. it's adorable.

do they enjoy tickling? if yes, is it a fun platonic/familial thing, or kinky thing to them, or can it be both depending on the circumstance? - before he starts to get better with the whole touching people thing? the idea of tickling as a concept is enough to make his stomach hurt. he thought he would despise feeling helpless under another person's hand. but as he gets more comfortable with affection, and closer with the other crows, he realizes that it...doesn't suck as much as he thought. he still pretends to absolutely loathe it. it was definitely a familial thing when he was little, his brother tickled him all the time, but i can see him as an adult enjoying it in a romantic or even kinky fashion with inej, because i feel like he feels completely safe with her and likes submitting to her 👀

are they more often a lee or ler, generally? - neither, at first. he stays completely away from the playful pokes for a long time. then, he becomes almost exclusively a lee when he allows the physical contact. it's always quick, over the clothes, and in private, but specifically jesper and inej love to tickle him. eventually, i think he'd get comfortable being more of a ler, leaving him at a 60% lee, 40% ler sort of ratio.

who is someone in their life that they tickle often? - inej, but he's very careful about it. she hates feeling helpless even more than him, and he never wants to freak her out. he really likes braiding her hair and "accidentally" running his fingers over her neck to make her giggle, or softly squeezing her knees, even though she kicks

who is someone in their life that they get tickled by often? - when he was a kid, jordie tickled him all the time. now, jesper and inej are really the only person who would dare to try it. partially because no one wants to cross his boundaries, partially because he is Scary.

does the word “tickle” or any variation of embarrass them? - i don't think so, unless it's being directed at him, then he gets a little flustered (threatening to tickle him or talking about his sensitivity)

are they embarrassed about their ticklishness, and do they try to deny/hide it? - embarrassed isn't really the right word...he knows that it's just a human thing, that he can't really help it, but he does guard that secret very well. he has a reputation to uphold, after all. if people knew how easily the bastard of the barrel could be reduced to a giggly mess, he'd be DONE FOR, lol. soooo, he'd deny and hide it very seriously.

would gentle tickling or rough tickling affect them more? - gentle, for sure. he's used to roughness, violence, but gentleness totally wrecks him.

is there a specific spot that they enjoy being tickled, either exclusively or more than other spots? what is it? - he likes having his back tickled a lot, especially when he and inej start being able to share a bed and she does it to make him all giggly and boneless and sleepy<3333

is there a spot that they can’t stand to be tickled, either because it’s just too sensitive, or it’s uncomfortable/painful/etc? what is it? - his bad leg is just a big no-touching spot for him in general, otherwise he's alright with it. he does just prefer to be touched over his clothes in general.

would they ever purposefully bug a friend/partner/sibling into tickling them, and if so, how would they go about it? - hot take but i feel like he would...kaz is horrible at verbalizing his feelings, his desires, and if he ever was craving physical affection, he wouldn't have the first idea of how to make that known. plus, he would rather hit himself over the head with his cane than just ask for it. so i think he would either just be particularly snarky/sarcastic, or with inej, i think he'd tickle her first so that she'll do it back.

does teasing affect them? - he hates that it does, but yes. and he replies mostly but cursing at the person doing it, and definitely not blushing at all.
