Tweaked the image a bit, because I thought Bular was a little too dark to see sometimes. I also spent a little more time on a nicer background.

I had forgotten to post this yesterday, here is a design I came up with for a Fool's Gold AU where Xanu actually succeeded with his original plan and didn't get destroyed in the portal. I drew the companion piece as a way to show off the design at a different angle and kind of elaborate on this version of Xanu's character. The design itself took elements from Darth Maul and Dagoth Ur, as well as from Xanu's canon design and Goddrick III. The concept for the AU has been rattling around in my mind for a while, generally as an idea for a future campaign in the Fool's Gold setting. It's a pretty well-known fact about me that I don't think Xanu should've been redeemed, so this AU is a bit of my own reaction to canon and the fandom's stance on canon Xanu, trying to play up his malign and villainous aspects into a grandiose yet menacing monster. I think the design came out wonderfully, and I look forward to posting more about the design.

Hear me out. Because Snape survives. And he would have been killed during the battle because Voldemort thinks he is the Elder wands master. So- that scews the events.

That means Cedric kills Neville during the first rush of Death eaters into the castle.

And in the normal timeline Bellatrix is killed during the second surge in /AFTER/ Neville stand down.

one of the worst things that gen ai fucked up is our ability to trust in the creativity of others now. i found a new music artist whose music i like, only they released a whole bunch of albums in a few short months, and their ig is full of videos that are eerily inconsistent. it could still be a real person with real content, but i don't know. i hate that there is this seed of doubt in everything now

So he's standing there, blood everywhere, eyes locked with Luffy's, as realization sinks into both of them. Luffy realizes it's Sabo, Sabo realizes it's Luffy, and what he just did.

Bionicle G2 Should have Been

As a Bionicle Fan from the beginning , I was wildly disappointed with the 2015-2016 generation of Bionicle. I had so much hope for it at first cause it was Bionicle which meant to me there was going to be deep lore and mysteries that are hidden in plain sight, like how in the original Bionicle the Island of Mata Nui being a literal mask on the Great Spirit Robot's face was a secret that was always right there in front of us (On the Island of Mata Nui there is the Volcano called Mangai, the Mountain called Ihu, and the Bay called Naho. In Maori Mangai means Mouth, Ihu means Nose, and Naho means Eye Socket.) I tried to eagle eye every detail of Gen 2 early in its release to figure out what the big secret would be this time! Turns out it was a whole lot of nothing but disappointment. I don't think the new writers really had a plan figured out at all, they were just hoping to bait us with nostalgia and hoped the older fans would do all the marketing to younger fans...It was kinda a big mess and may have killed any chance for Bionicle ever making another comeback, people don't want to stock a product that doesn't sell, and it's such a shame cause I felt like there was a story right there they could have gone with and neglected. In the early Bionicle G2 animations there were hidden masks of Time everywhere in the background, the two legendary figures were both Mask Makers who's entire plot was based on Vakama and Nuhrii, and "Makuta" makes the "Mask of Ultimate Power" by combining all 6 elements much like how the Mask of Time was made from all 6 Great Disks from each Metru... My conclusion was that this was an alternate Darker Timeline where Vakama had teamed up with Teridax and given him the Mask of Time. Ekimu would have turned out to have been Vakama and secretly the real villain of the series misleading the Toa and the Villagers to stay in power, and "Makuta" was actually Nuhrii who had turned on Vakama's reign and was labeled the Villain in history. This time instead of trying to wake the Great Spirit the heroes would want to keep it from waking up because Mata Nui is long gone, the only mind that would be in there now is Teridax who somehow ended up Comatose here instead. Maybe we would see other changed versions of characters like the remaining former Toa Metru and how they handled things after being betrayed by Vakama. If the script is flipped who might we see be unexpected allies?
