it’s always soda who doesn’t like curly or doesn’t like that he’s dating his brother. What about Darry? What about TwoBit? What about Steve? What about Johnny? Guys I fear we are leaving out the opportunity to have the whole gang dislike curly and curly having to earn their respect. Let curly be absolutely terrified of Darry, let Darry lean into that so that curly doesn’t try and get pony in trouble. Let curly and Johnny hate eachother and insult the other when pony isn’t looking. Let Steve be overprotective of pony, let him and soda play pranks on curly and try to purposely anger him. Let TwoBit be an absolute menace to both pony and curly and then when pony isn’t looking TwoBit just stares at curly waiting for him to get freaked out. And let dally embarrass the shit out of curly by telling all the stories Tim has told him.
