Every once in a while I just remember the time DC decided to make Jim Gordon batman for a short while and put him in a fuckass costume with a dumbass mohawk
Batman: Superheavy
Jim Gordon's Batman and Rookie, his mech suit. Plus Duke Thomas and Mr. Bloom
Years back, I attempted my first custom "Rookie" minifigures from the Batman Superheavy arc. The figure was painted and heavily modified, but I was proud of it at the time. However, I always wanted to do better. Find a purist way to accomplish this, and I finally did! I've spent the last couple months working on a MOC of Rookie and I'm happy to finally share it. It's bigger than the "actual size" compared to a minifig, but I'm so happy with how this MOC turned out
Hot take: the DC You run was one of DC Comics’ best eras. They finally admitted that having a strict continuity within superhero comics is impossible and gave writers and artists free reign to do whatever they wanted, thus giving us masterpieces like DC Bombshells, Gotham Academy, Brenden Fletcher’s Black Canary, Constantine: The Hellblazer, The Legend of Wonder Woman and Khalid Nassour as the new Dr Fate.
Ouch, Oliver
