They hadn’t had a traditional marriage; Jim’s fault, really. It was a small price to pay in his line of business. They weren’t even getting a proper getaway Honeymoon. Then again, it wasn’t as if they were exactly normal; and Paris just happened to be the current residence of the last client that had skipped out on paying. One just didn’t just get away with that, and as a treat, what better way to spend the week after such a glorious occasion.
Jim was smiling when he came up beside her, nosing her hair and pressing a soft kiss to Molly’s temple. “Ta-” murmured sleepily when he stole the cup of tea from her hands. He’d humour her. Do the tourist thing, see the sights, lots of photos, but for Jim, that target would be in his sights the entire time. Shame Moran had to go and take some time off; though the opportunity was going to give Jim a chance to see if he still had the knack.
And in turn he’d get to shape his darling new bride. “I know you’ve an itinerary,” Jim mused, flicking through his phone as he took a seat on the sofa. “you get bonus points if you keep me entertained.”
