So I got into the Detective Grimoire games. Still playing through Mermaid Mask.

And I wanted to draw some Dateables in the games artstyle as practice.

I'm sure none of them have committed a murder... right?

well, it’s official!! i finally finished a full play through of Date Everything 🥰

i adore this game, and i will definitely keep writing for it! i intend to do a mate everything run eventually and try for the consummate professional achievement haha

This is such a cute idea, Maggie would be having a ball while you two solve a way out. Maggie already loves solving detective cases with us, but to escape? Oh kinda hot too, being stuck in a room together and with a big red timer.

Maggie loves hearing your ideas, big, small, or weird. If you have a reason or strong suspicion, she is gonna eat it up!

She would write things down, specifically anything you mention or any connecting dots and lines. Ofc she would have her trusty magnify glass 🔍

Maggie finds it attractive when you take lead and start connecting things, it makes her heart race seeing you take initiative too

The staff would hate to see you two coming. Its now like a bet to see who can get out first and why?

Off topic but on subject, murder mystery games? Clue? Oh, maggie, and you will dominate. Cute idea is to play with Parker and chance too?

Maggie would give you so much praise and affection for finishing! Even if you two don't escape in time, it was still a fun date. Now you two can go get some tea and sweet treats afterward.

Anytime a new theme comes out? She is going to tell you and ask if you want to go in again, beat your personal best.

Apologies for the diversion of my usual mac obsession my lieges, but I just got friend zoned by maggie and I’m devastated… (slight spoilers???)

It was definitely because I went into the Sinclair investigation blind, or more likely I didn’t quite choose all the right options before coming to my conclusion that this investigation was insolvable…

And I literally forgot to save for the 7 entire hours I played this fucking game, so now it’s maggie against 50% of my entire roster

Please say your condolences to me…. because I fumbled a baddie (I WAS SO CLOSE TOO GYATT DAMNIT I gotta play this game again once I have played through everything the first time because I’m already this far into it but I still love maggie PLEASE TAKE ME BACK PLEASEE)

I love this game, I really do. I'm very avid in the Dorian side. BUT HOLY COW. I am beyond let down by some of the characters. They feel so shallow. Case in point: Dorian. I was excited for this character because he's voiced by Ben Starr and is just up my alley personality wise. Don't get me wrong, I love Dorian, but his character is severely lacking story-wise. Sure, he has the whole arc with [SPOILERS], but even that fell flat. It didn't even flesh it out. It could've been a great expanding point for both characters. All that Dorian remotely does is just tell you about the objects in the house and really has nothing beyond that (I know of the minor arcs in Maggie and Sinclaire's stuff). I know two things about him: He doesn't like music very much, and he likes truffles. Dorian's date-a-dex makes his character seem more interesting, and it let me down when I was finally able to interact with him in-game.

Also the ending parts of the game? Really? We hit love status and then can't do shit with the characters we romance... in a dating game... huh. Overall, I feel they chose a quantity over quality thing and it makes some characters very bland or uninteresting.
