Deadlift
Bar only (20kg/45lbs) – 1x3
40kg - 1x3
50kg - 1x3
On the last rep of the 50kg, there was a twinge in my lower back. I tried lifting more, just about managed one more 40kg, but no, t'was not to be. I was able to do some assisted pull ups...

But alas, the back pain got worse. Time for some ibuprofen and a cold pack. Hopefully I'll recover in time for my next workout on Saturday.
What could have caused this?
I warm up properly every time, but I was rushed this morning. It's possible I didn't spend long enough here.
I also should have done more warm up sets on the deadlift - I went too heavy too fast.
My form may have been poor. Given my haste, it's possible (most likely) that I wasn't paying enough attention to my form.
Once I've recovered I'll pay attention to each of these to prevent this from happening again.

Thought about pulling 170kg/374lb but decided to keep it conservative for now as I've found myself working near max too often and I'm meant to be focusing on size!
