"Deadly Angels," a really boffo Shaw Bros.-produced "Charlie's Angels"-inspired Hong Kong Action flick that goes further in terms of sex and violence than the TV series ever could. You get no less than four Superwomen with individualized weaponry and tons of hand-to-hand combat skills wielded against multiple oppponents. It's just a question of choosing your favorite Angel. One of the American alternate titles was "The Bod Squad" (!). If I'd been a kid in New York City back when this was released, I'd have cut school to see it in Times Square and happily taken my punishment afterward.
