Hello, I’m hoping to find some mutuals who post about Death Note. I’m a headmate in a DID system, more specifically I’m an introject of L Lawliet from the anime DN, I’m 20, and a he/him genderqueer trans guy. I’ve seen the Death Note anime as well as the musical, and currently I am reading the manga and watching the TV drama. I’ve read the DN Another Note LABB Murder Cases book.

The only Death Note ship I really think of or post about is lawlight (although remisa I can also appreciate) so it would be nice, in particular, to have some mutuals who post about that. I am not opposed to being mutuals with multishippers, etc, though.

And to be clear, as an introject, I am completely fine with other introjects/fictives/etc who share the same source (DN) interacting, including other L introjects or anyone else, and I’m also fine with people who kin L, etc, interacting.

I can’t follow from this account, as it is a sideblog, but I’ll probably follow you back from my main if you follow me and/or like or reblog this post.

Sooo do all death note fictives hate each other or..?

I wouldn’t be surprised, since we’re all majorly traumatised from being you know… killed, abused, manipulated, our disabilities being ignored etc.

And no two fictives will have the same source memories. Just because I had a good relationship with my successors in an almost dad/children like way, doesn’t mean all fictives of the wammys kids did, some will remember each other as rivals that hated each other, some won’t. Some will hate me, their fellow successors, their caretakers, some won’t.

And death note while it is a great story, is also a tragic one. Full of cold blooded killers, abusive egomaniacs, broken systems taking advantage of people. Not a single character didn’t experience some kind of trauma.

We’ve all heard a thousand times that fictives don’t equal their source, and that’s true. But our connections to our source will vary from person to person, and those feelings we have won’t go away. I know the Light Yagami fictive in ‘insert system name here’ isn’t the same Light that hurt me, but I still have the trauma the being that is Light left me with. I still get a gut twisting primal fear and disgust whenever I see people praise or god forbid ship me with that man.

And sometimes I feel kind of bad about it, because again. Fictives don’t equal their source, I’m certainly different than my source so why wouldn’t other DN fictives be? They could all be great people for all I know.

I think when it comes to sources like DN where everyone was hurt by everyone, and everyone split into their systems with differing memories/opinions, we’re all kind of doomed to be easily triggered.

No wonder we all resent each other…

We are a splitroject from Death Note ( Light and L ) that goes by the names Justice and Law. We are part of the @arcadeofghosts system.

We ( as in Law ) refer to ourselves mostly with We/Us/Our because of our connection to both Light and L and the fact that we ship ourselves together. Though we may be connected heavily to our characters, please do not refer to us as L or Light unless stated otherwise.

This blog may not be used as much as our other side blogs, but we ( the system ) have decided that having us ( Justice ) front more often would be beneficial to the system's mental health.

We enjoy reading ( manga and novels ), playing video games and Dungeons and Dragons, and watching anime.

It’s been years at this point but I’m still endlessly amused I somehow ended up a father of two teenagers in this system.

…After my authors ditched the idea of me having kids because apparently I was too socially awkward to pull any girls.

Never said anything about adoption though.
