I LOVELOVELOVE when they have that specific wild taste I LOVE you instincts I LOVE when they look that little bit fucked up I LOVE designs that if you passed by them in a street you would turn around. I love you ditigrade legs I love you animal like body language. I love you claws and fins and tails and scales and feathers I love you features that aren't just aesthetic, that are active cuz feathers furs scales can be itchy and need to be taken care of. I love it being written into a routine just like brushing hair is to us.

I love you species culture and miscommunication and sharing culture because sharing a rock or food can be seen as passive gestures to some yet a declaration of courtship to others. love you going out of your way to do something in the love language of the other.

I love you different species taking different body language differently because swishing a tail is happiness for some and a sign of aggitation for others, showing teeth is as equally a sign of a threat as it is a smile.

I love you characters separated from society raised in the wild that relearn how to be a person. I love you characters mistreated by society that relearn it's okay to act inhuman

I'm thinking for fish something like a red lionfish? Something tropical? The design would be sick. Totally blank on the bird tho.

The bird headcanons I really like are kestrel(because of pirates smp, obviously), raven(ties nicely with ren and he needs that philza minecraft jazz), saw a rlly cool barn owl design, and lyrebird (literal soundboard).

For fish maybe sharks? I've done tresher shark before cause of the huge ass tail. Open for other suggestions too!
