Last June MEPs voted to reject Articles 11 and 13. However the EU’s Copyright Directive for the Digital Single Market is going back to the Parliament this week.

Please take a moment to see how your MEPs voted, as there were a number of members who were unable or unwilling to attend the last vote. Contact your MEP and encourage them to vote against these measures. Go to change.org/savetheinternet and sign the petition if you haven’t already.

Literally so worried about this Article 13 thing - fandoms are going to be affected and fandoms are my dang life, man. My days are sharing content with you amazing people, rambling about my fictional children and scheming angsty and fluffy fanfiction. Fan content in general helps me cope with life issues, too and just... I can't imagine a life without that.

I'm trying not to panic but waking up one day and finding I can't produce fancontent anymore, read fanfiction, or talk with fellow nerds terrifies me.

hey guys, I just wanted to do a quick update. I’ve been away for a long time, I only make an edit from time to time, being a student is busier than I thought it would be. I do have edits planned for December, and I’m started a new gif series tomorrow. However, I wanted to be extremely honest about how I’m feeling about article 13. I keep panicking about how everything will change after article 13 is passed from YouTube (my videos will undoubtedly been taken down) to gifsets, to fanfiction. I love making content for you, and I’m afraid of the day I can’t make content for you. Honestly, for tumblr and Ao3, I will look into using a VPN. I have over 1,000 edits I’ve taken time to make, and I can’t imagine losing them. In total, I’ve written over a million words of fanfiction (not all published on Ao3) and love writing, I spent weekends writing, for myself and for you.

My request to you is spread the information about Article 13 like wildfire. Every single person on the planet has to know what is at stake and what we are about to lose if we do nothing. The final vote is in JANUARY 2019. Let them regret the day that they ever considered taking away our free internet, our home, our future. #saveyourinternet
