She-Ra's Potential Delisting - Update.

So a long while ago, I made a post theorising that She-Ra was going to be delisted from Netflix, along with a bunch of other Dreamworks shows. That theory was sadly, unfortunately partly proven true last year when Voltron got taken down. The site I originally got it from is now giving an estimate as to when She-Ra could get delisted.... and its as early as Febuary next year.

Make your backups of She-Ra as soon as you can friends, because unless She-Ra finds a new offical home really fast, it might get a bit harder for us to offically watch our favourite show.

(As of now, Voltron isn't back up anywhere, not even Amazon who are making a Voltron movie that's gonna be out at some point).

Sega delisting over 60 classic games from virtual stores, including Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi

Over 60 classic Sega games are being delisted from digital stores, including Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe and Jet Set Radio.

If anyone hasn't gotten the word. Here it is.

Sega is enacting its Origins strategy. Except now, it's happening to all their catalogs of their classic games.

If you want their infamous games. Better grab them now before it's too late.

2025 is looking like another tough year for the industry with plenty of new game closures and removals from digital store fronts. Please Save The Unreal Series of FPS Games!

This is grave news, for on this day, December 14 (15 in some regions), 2022, Epic Games has made the completely shocking and inane announcement of delisting and ending online multiplayer support for the beloved multiplayer arena FPS duology Unreal Tournament 1999 and Unreal Tournament 2004 alongside their singleplayer-centered predecessor Unreal and its expansion pack Return to Na Pali on Steam and their Epic Games Store, with their GOG fates in an unclear state (as of this writing). In return, they will deem Unreal Tournament 3 X, which is a contested title in the series, as a free purchase onwards while promoting the arguably more popular yet extremely controversial Fortnite in the usual helpful manner, so to speak.

This may be a bit too demanding if not sounding pathetic, but to anyone reading this and are most likely affected by this shake-up however recently or not, *please save this veritable trilogy of quality singleplayer and multiplayer gaming from the hells of abandonware, loss of love and support from dedicated fans and makers, and, in the vein of fandoms, the feared overratedness of battle royales, unpolished AAA titles, and other such flawed gaming concepts!* It would truly mean a lot if they will be preserved from the meanness of time, age, and trending relevancy, for I and others can only do this since we don't have the capability for petitions, protests, and the like. Spread the word, people, for until then, we drift and hope...

Why SEGA Delisting Classic Sonic Games Is Consumer-Friendly.

And no, the answer isn't "Sonic Origins is coming out."

A lot of fans seem to be worried that ports and emulations they already own for the original Sonic trilogy and Sonic CD won't be playable anymore. That fortunately isn't the case, at least for products on Steam and on the Nintendo Switch (I can't speak for PlayStation or Xbox because I don't use either). When a product is delisted from either of these platforms' store pages, it will still be accessible to those who have purchased the software via the software. You can still play it at any time, delete it, and even reinstall it.

In this way, SEGA can make their product lineup related to classic Sonic straightforward, without harming the consumers that have already purchased their previous products.

The Nintendo Switch will still have Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2 (the SEGA Ages versions) and Sonic 2 will still be on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion.
