Seaside Pavilion (CC-Free)

This is a beautiful beach wedding lot I found on MTS back in 2016, credited to Dellevanth.  For some odd reason, Dellevanth got rid of it a short time ago, and I was so sad because it was such a beautiful lot!  I even made a "Thank you" comment to Dellevanth, telling them that if I were a Sim, I wold have happily gotten married there!

Rick just wanna create downtown complete remodeled

god Rick and me both!!! Every time I send a sim Downtown I feel like I want to remodel it, but I am not very confident with my urban lots and usually end up giving up halfway through. I prefer other creators downtown makeovers half the time, haha. You never know, though...

Hey, will you update the 'downloads' folder? (not to be demanding) I think your makeovers are amazing & creative, I just can't wait to see your complete version of universities!

I’m happy you like my makeovers and do intend to get back to them, but the pace will likely be a lot slower than it has in the past. I used to upload like 10 in a week sometimes but that was when I was unemployed :’)

I’m slowly getting used to the 9-5 (more of a 7-7 in my case since I have to commute) but it only leaves me with a handful of hours in the evening and I like to spend those evenings with my boyfriend when possible. I’m trying to carve out an evening or two of simming a week but it’s tricky juggling multiple projects! I love playing my megahood and also really want to finish & release Europa, plus finish the uni makeovers. 

Hopefully I don’t sound too defensive here, I’m honestly thrilled that there are people who love and use my lots! I’m just struggling a little with time management :’)

Death by fright is probably my fav from sims 2. I also pronounce it aLIVE mode, the other way sounds weird to me!

Its so cool, right? I like that it has its own animation with the sims checking their pulse. After old age, this tends to be the most common type of death in my game, haha. Burning never happens with fire alarms, drowning never happens unless you set it up on purpose, and my sims get electrocuted constantly but never seem to die from it.

Neat! I like the holes in the floor and the hovering table. The LiveJournal was possibly Penny-Sims? Selenaq linked it recently with a decorated tree.

That’s the one! I spent hours looking through her stuff, it was so inspiring :D (and thank you. I wasn’t sure about the holes in the floor since they don’t really look natural, but I like em, too.)

You don’t have to tell me twice! I adore pirate history and think it’s super relevant, which may be why my sims ended up talking about it in the first place. Zoe seems like a more modern-history kinda gal to me.

Thanks! I was really proud of it and ended up making it into a little poster. I considered getting rid of the stink before taking the snap, but I felt it added extra authenticity, haha!

But bands don't need to be enemies! The more music is available, the more the demand for music grows.

True!! They’re not really “enemies” as such but the bands have a certain university-based rivalry going on. It’s pretty playful though, they’re all on good terms really.

You’re welcome! I’ll try and prioritise finishing up LFT since there’s only about 3 lots left now. (And I enjoyed decorating the SSU frat house so much I’m now itching to do the LFT one.)

I suggest La Fiesta Tech because Frottana has already done a good job with the base-game neighborhoods, no offense, I do believe your creations are good as Frottana's

I did say I know there are other makeovers of the base game hoods about. :P I’m flattered to be compared to Frottana, their lots are gorgeous! I’m making the lots over more for myself than anything else, though, and I’d like to do my own take on the base hoods anyway since other people’s downloads don’t always fit my own “vision”. (I’d like Brandi’s trailer to be a lot cheaper-looking, for example.)

I don’t know a safe way to upload the neighbourhood itself, unfortunately! It probably wouldn’t be hard to copy, though, just fling a bunch of trees at it and you’re there!

Ah, thank you! I didn’t think I’d grow to like Jonah as much as I do, haha. His and Swan’s date was mostly just because he had a want to go an a date and decent chemistry with her, I wasn’t expecting to find them so adorable together D:

I see Swan as a Nightwish kinda girl. My sims music taste is always limited, of course, since they only know music that I know.

Sometimes "pleasant" isn't the right sound for a rock band.

Yeah. I imagine Roxie’s voice to be more suited for bubblegum pop than metal. Though who knows, maybe she’ll do vocals for the odd song?

Thank you! I’m glad the name is going down well. I liked it immediately when I thought of it but hesitated since it’s not a particularly “metal” name. But hey, who really cares?

Are those skins from Maxis?

Not sure what you mean by skins, the skintones are maxis, yes. The unique faces are due to the fact that those sims belong to a custom neighbourhood available here. And if you mean the man’s hairy torso, that’s an overlay that you apply on male sims, on any skintone, see here and here. I think those are the links but I’ve had these overlays forever so I’m not sure anymore where from initially. Look for “male bodyhair overlay”.
