Okay but fr, I had the thought that Bob would be a cat guy a couple weeks ago. And then I thought about how Jake would probably swear up & down that he doesn't like cats. But then Jake meets Bob's cat. She's a sweet, fluffy thing. She's immediately on Jake's lap & Jake just freezes for a moment not sure what to do. Then he gently pats her and she just starts purring & Jake is IMMEDIATELY smitten. 🥺

KIND OF LIKE HE IS W/ BOB. i have this headcanon forming where bob basically imprints on people. And it’s totally unpredictable, because he’s never unfriendly—but the people he chooses to love, he really commits to. And so everyone’s surprised when it’s Jake, but Phoenix can kind of see it, she saw this coming, and she knew that if anyone was gonna hold Jake down and not take his crap, it would be bob. She also knew that if anyone was gonna give bobs life a jolt of excitement and liven him up, it would be Jake.

AND ITS THE SAME THING WITH THE CAT. the cat is like super unfriendly with people or at least distant, wary, and everyone (ROOSTER) is like ooooh, she’s gonnna HATE Jake, and then she drops on jakes lap the first day and just. Like. Doesn’t leave. (Same as Bob.)

But I also love the notion of cat people and dog people. Because the general implication is usually that you have to work for a cats trust and love, whereas dogs just give it freely. And there genuinely ARE dog people and cat people—not to stereotype, but I’ve seen it. And the notion that Jake would walk thru life thinking “oh I’m a dog person ha ha of course” and then he meets Bob, and he’s thrown through a loop because he loves Bob, and he has to really work for bobs trust and affection. And he likes working for it. It literally makes him a better person.

Idk man. I just get excited about this stuff. 💛

Oh my god that dimension swap fic broke my heart and I wanted to cry when it just ended! Would you ever consider continuing it and maybe posting it on ao3 or something? Pretty sure I need it to breathe.

Sorry for the rough ending!! Believe me, I wanted to go on but it was already my longest "drabble." Think of it as a chapter break and the story being on temporary hiatus. I definitely plan on continuing once my writing schedule's freed up a bit. :)

Hollywood AU

Stiles is a new make up artist on the Hollywood scene, and despite his young age and newly blossomed talents, he's one of the best.

He gets picked up for an A list movie with quite an ensemble of famous actors and actresses. Including one Derek Hale, the most sought after actor and bachelor.

Derek plays a werewolf in the movie and Stiles gets lucky enough to be assigned to do Derek's make up and prosthetics for the movie.

At first Derek doesn't give much thought to the young man doing his make up but in true Stiles fashion he worms his way under Derek's skin, and Derek finds himself smitten.

Stiles also finds himself infatuated with the handsome actor, but there's no way his affections could be returned.

Right?

Stiles is A BAMF

Stiles is feeling hopeless after Scott leaves and he starts pooring over old druid books that he managed to find/get from Deaton and he finds a really old spell that would allow Stiles to steal Jennifer's powers. If he did this he would be able to save the parents and help defeat the alphas. Stiles doesn't tell anyone his plan because he doesn't want them to ruin it and when they get to root cellar to stop Jennifer from the last sacrifices Stiles blocks the werewolves out and has an epic showdown with her. He gets his hands around her neck ajd strangles her while he sucks the power out of her. I imagine his veins glowing and his eyes glowing like Jennifer's except a gold color. And he kills Jennifer even though he didn't necessarily have to. And he's kind of horrified afterwards but he doesn't regret it, she hurt people he cared about.

And here's an idea. What if Stiles did the same thing he did to Jennifer, but to Ducalion instead, draining him of all his werewolf powers and essentially leaving Ducalion human?

And because of his new incredible powers, Scott, Derek, and the others were now wary of him?

Reluctant to let Stiles touch them?

Walls are not Derek's Friend

There's a heat wave going on in Beacon Hills and the pack are trying to keep cool at Derek's loft. Except that was a terrible idea because Derek doesn't have air conditioning.

So everyone is stripping down to the bare minimum, trying to keep cool. And just as Derek is walking back into the room, Stiles removes his shirt, and Derek was so distracted by Stiles that he ended up running into the wall. Cora and Peter are snickering at Derek because they know. And everyone else is like, /did that just happen?/.
