I saw a TikTok about what if Cecil had a full head of gray hair,… I don’t think I could get over this version of him. Also I know Cecil’s bald ahh head is always cold at the GDA, and I bet he dosent ware a hat bc he thinks its unprofessional for him.

I’m going to be completely honest, I actually don’t like Snoot’s design all that much. I like his lore and I like the idea of him, but I just don’t think his design would work out for a main character in the world of a hollow knight game. The reasons I think this is because of his green cloak and his pitch black body would blend in with the background. In hollow knight and silksong, the protagonists have bright white masks that make them stand out from the background. But put Snoot in deepnest or the abyss, and well… he doesn’t show up.

Besides that, I like the idea of the protagonists having a mask because it actually gives the character a simple shape with easy places to put details.

I’ve been a bit inspired while drawing another protagonist for someone else’s HK fangame and the HK skin by SAD-ist to do some more characters with completely circular masks, so I’ve come up with something below. (I know it looks extremely similar to SAD-ist’s design, and I’m hoping to make him look more unique in the long run.)
