kiss me once and i am eternally yours

[rain-rainynights]

The strings of the melodious harp The pluck and pull of each note Lulls me deeper into your world As if it is the siren song into heaven

i wish to be showered in rose petals and for the ocean waves to crash upon my ankles; just to be as close to your presence as i could be in this mortal vessel on this mortal land

and i know that to drown would be such a romantic way to wholeheartedly surrender my body and soul to you

I never thought I'd know what devotion would entail, In it's all-consuming nature Under my eyes laid on your shore and your waves crashed onto me: I slipped under the surface You filled my lungs until you were the only thing in my bloodstream; And I knew my soul was forfeit to you And it was the most marvelous realization of my life

my body slips into the pool of rosewater. and all at once, i become the embodiment of love and beauty within the confines of my mortal body

a spring rose glistening with the morning dew on its petals could not compare to the divine beauty you radiate

you fill me with love you fill me with awe that all at once i become forever lost
