Junkrat Practice - With And Without A Reference

There was a lot of things I missed when I drew without a reference. Like I forgot he had patches on his shorts and the upper half of his face is...scorched? Dyed? Who knows, but I also forgot he had those majestic bushy eyebrows.

To be fair, I never really focus on what bodies look like. Like the detail of abs or stomach rolls. But when I drew with a reference I found myself wanting to add those bits because they add to the character. I also forgot he had a robotic hand. While the non reference hand was...sloppy, this one was difficult because I honestly cannot draw mechanic things. Let alone hands.

This was really fun to try and I might do this again.
