We've been looking for a new table for our breakfast nook for months, if not over a year, and Mom finally found something on Facebook marketplace. After work I drove to Gurdon where a Baptist preacher has been using it in their parsonage. It's a vintage table he said he bought from a woman in Tennessee 12 years ago. He asked her then if she had re-upholstered the chairs and she said she hadn't. And he hasn't. I'm guessing they're completely original from the 1960s (?) and in fantastic shape. I gave him $260 for the set and loaded it up. Things will be a little cramped once you two grow up some more, but for now, we're excited to have a table that's bigger than the one we've been using. We have our dining room table, of course, but it's so easy to sit down here beside the kitchen so that we can watch you two eat while we clean up, etc.
