I got tricked in @ellsey trick or treat challenge, so I here are 5 headcanons for Deke Shaw's timeline

The untold reason he chose to stay behind in the screwed-up timeline was so he wouldn't have to leave kidMack and Ruben. He knows what being abandoned feels like.

He loves playing matchmaker. He introduces Isabelle Hartley and Victoria Hand.

May and Coulson realize and admit their feelings much sooner thanks to Deke.

He keeps tabs on the team. He understands Fitz to much more after meeting Alistair. He gets Alistair to leave sooner amd introduces Fitz to the Mackenzie brothers. He also finds a safe home for Yoyo and her cousin after her uncle gets killed.

Deke thought he would never see Daisy, but May and Coulson's own Daisy is so much like the Daisy he used to know in both name and appearance, it's uncanny.

Bonus

Deke confirms that Daisy Coulson is this timeline's incarnation of Daisy Johnson. It's undeniable and cannot be chalked to coincidence once she's a teenager. She finds her way to Lincoln Campbell.

Grant and Deke hid under a table while they watched a glittering James Barnes find a soon-to-be-dead British man. The two men were covered in honey and feathers themselves. Also, they smell smoke somewhere.

Grant: "Did you reach Vic?"

Deke: "She doesn't want to come. We should have accompanied Bruce and Steve to the academy."

Grant: "Or just gag Clint and Lance."

Deke: "Yes,we should have done that."

Bucky: "I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD HUNTER."

Lance: "OH PLEASE YOU ARE TOO SLOW, OLD MAN."

Tony: "WHERE THE HELL ARE THE BIRDS?!"

Sam and Clint laughed at pink haired Tony as they hid in the ventilation shaft.

Deke: "God I wish the women were here."

Grant: "Congratulations, but woe do I hear something at night."

Lance: "If you need tips, come to me, I'll be happy to help."

Bobbi: "If you don't want water spilled on your face, then a little tip: don't get Hunter's help."

Lance: "If you really want the date to be perfect, then don't get advice from Barbara."

Barbara: "If you-"

Deke: "Thanks guys, you're the best, except for Clint, who by the way will be on the night shift with May next week."

Clint: "But Melinda-"

May: "Think carefully about what you want to say, Barton."

Clint: "- is the best person I know and I love to stay up with her all night while anyone who likes me is sleeping and won't hear my screams when Melinda kills me."

Deke: Hello young man, I'm Deke Shaw Direction from Shield I would like to offer you a scholarship to the Shield Academy.

young Fitz: I? But I'm nothing special...

Deke: What? You are something special! You are one of the smartest people I will ever get to know! I already know that you will make great things happen. You will be a hero, Leopold Fitz.

young Fitz: A hero?

Deke: Yes, a hero.

young Fitz: If I'm a hero why did my dad leave me?

Deke: Because he's a villain, Leo. He doesn't deserve a wonderful child like you.

young Fitz: really?

Deke: Really. You are unique and wonderful, Leo, never forget it.

Clint: I might have hit Grant with a glitter bomb. Before you say it was meant for Lance, that ass stole my beer again. So it's Lance's fault.

Academy, 11pm in the evening

Leo: "What do you want from me at this hour, Grant? I slept so well, idiot!"

Grant: "I'm sorry, but I just can't take it anymore! Every fucking minute I think about you which is totally wrong because you are my best friend! You're my first friend but I can't take it anymore I want so much to be more than just a friend-"

Leo: "Shut up, Grant! I've liked you a lot since the first move when I had to play that stupid academy game with you, you were stupid but kind of cute. And now stop doubting and kiss me the fuck again!"

Grant looked at him in shock, which is why Leo rolled his eyes before he took Grant's tie and pulled the bigger one down to kiss him.

Deke: "That damn Asshole! I should have rotten him in prison-"

Vic: "Just because he's with Leo? I thought you wanted them both to be happy."

Deke: "Yes but not like that! What about Jemma? Oh god-"

Vic: "Jemma is dating Trip, didn't you get it? Besides, it's better anyway if there is only one Deke in this universe."

Deke: "I-Fine, but if he hurts Leo, I'll send Grant to Antarctica."

Vic: "You wouldn't because you consider Grant a son."

Deke: "I hate you, I'll send you to Antarctica."
