1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to Aaron and his sons so that they abstain from the holy things of the people of Israel, which they dedicate to me, so that they do not profane my holy name: I am the Lord. 3 Say to them, ‘If any one of all your offspring throughout your generations approaches the holy things that the people of Israel dedicate to the Lord, while he has an…

Conviction Versus Eviction
22 “You shall therefore keep all my statutes and all my rules and do them, that the land where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out. 23 And you shall not walk in the customs of the nation that I am driving out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I detested them. 24 But I have said to you, ‘You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land…

HARNESSING THE POTENTIALS OF AFRICAN RICE (Oryza glaberrima Steud) IN THE QUEST FOR SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND INCREASED YIELD IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA | Journal of Global Agriculture and Ecology
This research examines contemporary literature on the history of African rice (Oryza glaberrima), as well as its current issues and future prospects. The study also looked at the Asian rice green revolution method and how it could be used in Sub-Saharan Africa to tap into African rice's underutilised potential for self-sufficiency, high economic returns for growers, and poverty reduction. The Asian rice green revolution was a huge success, improving the lives of millions of Asian disadvantaged people. With vast areas in Africa well suited for rice production and the inherent traits of O. glaberrima to survive under major biotic and abiotic stresses, researchers believe that if the right technologies used in the Asian green revolution in rice are adopted as a template, there could be a similar breakthrough in Africa. With effective follow-up strategies, Africa might achieve tremendous success on par with or perhaps surpassing Asian rice output. Is it possible for Africa to kick-start its rice green revolution? On brands, ownership, and associations
In the world of cars, you have hues like McLaren “papaya” and Bugatti blue. But first to everyone’s mind is Ferrari red. In the 90s, 85 percent of Ferrari’s sold were red and today that number is just under half.
Really owning a color as a brand is one of the hardest things to do in marketing. You have a few standouts like Tiffany blue and Hermès orange. And then you have brands like Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, and Home Depot who have done a pretty good job associating themselves with their own hue. Many of these companies have even trademarked their signature color, like Post-It yellow, UPS brown, and, maybe most interestingly, Owens-Corning pink.

Carl Pollard I love catfishing. Nothing beats the feeling of getting that tug on your line and reeling up a big fish from the deep. But lately I’ve been running into a problem, a problem that I never really faced while catfishing. The past couple of times that I’ve gone out and thrown my bait in the water, certain fish keep taking my bait away before any…
