A Brief Note Regarding the Pekes and the Pollicles
I just noticed that if Demeter was kidnapped by Macavity and only just got back, she wouldn’t have been around for rehearsals of The Pekes and the Pollicles, but she doesn’t seem to screw up her part at all.
Mungojerrie, Rumpleteazer, Tugger, and George didn’t come to Dog Practice and they all either screwed up or deliberately crashed the party, but Demeter was completely on point.
Is it just an inconsistency? Or is it a sign that Demeter knows this story incredibly well? Is she just very quick to pick up on things like this?
Either way, if Munkustrap wasn’t in love with her before...
Daily Challenge 1/17/20: Dog Study
I CANT do side profile/portrait of any sort for the life of me so im forcing myself to. Once we start getting into the more human themes there will probably be tear drops on my paper.
Anyway, for today’s sketch I started with the beagle head shot thing first and it somehow ended up being my favorite thing (Usually the first thing I draw has the ~first pancake~ vibe). Again I didn't measure correctly on some of my sketches so one of the dogs got amputated. As to why none of the eyes are colored in except for the semi-resembling Doge, its because when I tried they looked absolutely demonic. So the tradeoff was to either make them soulless (white eyes) or demonic (attempts to color in).
There is a plan for me to draw my own dog one day, which then I’ll do my best to take seriously for realism (which means shaded in eyes YAY..) or maybe not and ill just do a cartoon version
First pic show the darker lines, but second pic has better lighting, but the lines look light. Thus two pics. BUT NEVERMIND THAT!!! Practising them dogs, and aaaaaaahhhhh!!! My child Vez is gloriously standing tall!! X3 Since I'm using pencil, I didn't want to darken his form. UwU I will eventually get there. XD And I .... also need to find a way to change my anglerfish form cuz how am i going to take my son to walks and feed him properly. (._. ")
