Don absolutely has fixer themed pjs
Style Practice--Don Quixote of LCB from Limbus! <3 (Canto 7 Spoilers!!!!!!)
Alright, starting off, Don's hair is yellow. Let me pull out a color wheel--
So if we look at Don's hair and eyes, they're a corn yellow and an amber respectively. We have a couple palette options-- Blue and Violet-- (complimentary) Yellow, Orange, Red Orange, Red, Pink Red, Pink, Magenta Yellow, Orange, Green, Yellow, Green, Blue (all analogous) Yellow, violet, purple, (split) Yellow, blue, red-orange (triadic) Yellow, teal, lavender, red-orange (square)
I'm going to go with the red, pink, and magenta. Not only does it match Don's natural colors, they also tie back to her backstory, since the colors match that of La Manchaland.
example:
With her bold and brash personality, I feel like Don's silhouette should be more angular--which would also be easier to fight in. Frills and lace are pretty, but heavy and impractical. Plus, we can make her pretty with the angular shapes too--and we know she likes them, example:
Alright, so we've already established done does well in angular outfits. But if we look at the above examples, she looks super cute in patterns as well-- eg. the trims on Sancho's clothes, the patterning of the tattoos and the shirt in MLS Don, and the stripes of Don's EGO.
Plus, she looks good in neckwear. Alright! Here we go!
So for her shirt, i felt like a simple purple dress shirt would do. It brings color while not being too "busy."
Found this purple dress shirt-- particularly I would advise a safety pin to raise the collar of the shirt higher up on the neck.
Now stripes. A nice vest in a neutral color is good to add those stripes we were looking for--they add good texture to the outfit while not feeling overwhelming.
A neutral set of loose fitting pants should add a bit of silhouette change to contrast the tight, angular shapes of her upper clothing.
Now. Red gloves. The satin is a texture change, though we dont want it too close to the purple of the sleeves...
...so we overlay black fingerless gloved over top.
Shoes i will not change at all. Don must always wear her Rocinantes.
And she'd look really nice with some simple angular sunglasses.
Red brooch pinned to the vest would look good and add more of that red we want.
alright, quick doodle!
...wait
is that
OH MY FUCKING GOD
